A few weeks ago, someone from Edmonton's Food Bank logged into our Digital Confidence Cohort for the third time. Not because it was required. Because she wanted to go deeper.

That's the thing about AI literacy in the nonprofit sector. When people see how it connects to the work they already care about, you can't hold them back.

The same week, teams from The Alex, SIYS, Marigold, and Families Matter were all working through the programme. These are organizations that serve people every single day, and they're investing in understanding AI because they know it will shape how they do that work in the years ahead.

This is what responsible adoption looks like. Not rushing to automate. Learning to lead.

Here's something I believe deeply: the best AI education doesn't come from a screen. It comes from a person you trust, in a room you feel safe in, asking questions you've been afraid to ask out loud.

That's why we built the Educator Facilitator Certification. It's a four-stage pathway for people who want to become that trusted guide in their organization or community.

You start by going through the programme yourself. Then you learn to facilitate it. Then you're certified to deliver it independently. Then you're licensed to build your own cohorts.

We're training facilitators in the US right now through our partnership with LearnIt. The Canadian pathway begins September 14.
