We're looking for good people.

Comtech is looking for an experienced Journeyperson Electrician with Electrical FSR Certification who is reliable, hard-working, safety-minded, and ready to join our Surrey, BC team.

Mandatory Requirements:
• Journeyperson Electrician qualification
• Electrical FSR Certification
• Industrial experience
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence
• Ability to obtain security clearance
• Willingness to travel and work away from home for extended periods (typically 2+ weeks at a time)
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Comfortable working at heights
• Physically fit and capable of performing demanding work
• Strong commitment to safety
What We Do: Comtech installs and maintains telecommunications and SCADA infrastructure for utility providers, wireless carriers, and industrial clients across Alberta. Our crews work on communication towers, rooftops, stadiums, industrial facilities, and electrical substations.

Project Completed - 130-Foot Ballasted Monopole Build, Prince Rupert BC
Comtech has completed the construction and er****on of a 130-foot ARE AFS 1500 ballasted monopole at the Ridley Island Energy Export Facility near Prince Rupert, British Columbia.

Working on an project with , the Comtech team supported the tower build from site walkthrough and installation planning through foundation assembly, ballast placement, ground-level tower assembly, crane-assisted er****on, tower connection and final verification.

Thank you to everyone involved in bringing this project across the finish line. The work in the field, careful planning and coordination all contributed to a successful project completion.

We’re proud of the work completed by our team and excited to celebrate another strong finish for Comtech.
