DIY Quilted Pillow Kits are almost here! 🌼

Love my patchwork quilted pillows and want to try making one yourself? These kits are the perfect beginner-friendly project — fun, creative, and satisfying to finish in a weekend. If you can sew a straight line, have a sewing machine (or can borrow someone’s), this is such a fun project!

Each kit includes:

✂️ Coordinating zipper + pull
🧵 Ruby Star Society 5” fabric squares, organized and labeled by row
❤️ A quilted heart patch (denim or coordinating fabric)
☁️ Quilt batting
🪡 Backing fabric
📖 Step-by-step instructions

Everything is prepped and ready for you to sew.

These are a limited release and once they’re gone, they’re gone. Future kit drops may feature completely different fabrics, and the next release likely won’t happen until mid-summer.

✨ Finally — offering professional cover stitch hemming - now available in Salmon Arm! This type of hemming requires a specialty machine, it’s a one job type thing, which I finally have in my studio! Think: yoga pants and athletic wear to t-shirts, tank tops, dresses, skirts, and original jean hems, your favourite pieces can now have the same clean, factory-finished look they were designed with. 2 or 3 thread options. ✂️🧵✨

I’m still here! 😆🌊🫶🏻

Sometimes when you’re the maker and the marketer, (and a mom with a kid in Fastball) time gets away on you.

I’ve been working hard in my sewing studio, getting ready to launch some of my items in brick and mortar locations as well as a tiny market stand I’ll be putting out in front of the house from time to time.

Here is a few little fun items I’ll have a available, in a variety of patterns. Most of what I create is one of a kind, (with some made to order) so if there is something you like, you may want to nab it, as it may be the only fabric of that kind that I have. Like these super sweet towel shorts. Love, love them! These are a roomier fit, made with the awesome Coastwl sewing patterns. I’m playing around to see how popular some items will be so have very limited amounts of each.

It’s feeling more and more like summer here in the Shuswap! 🤟🏻🌊🌸

You guys. I made my little micro biz - A NEW L O G O!!!!! And I couldn’t be more obsessed with it!

When allllllll the hours of hard, long work behind the scenes start coming to fruition, it’s the most exciting win!

I hope you love ’s new logo as much as I do. Thanks to my crew who I lean on for so many idea inputs, for putting up with my non-stop - “how about this one!? - wait not that one, hang on…” 😝

The waves, the lake, the font - meshed with the original branding I think are much more fitting for the direction where I’m wanting this special little business to go. Good things take time 🌊🫶🏻

There’s something about a well-loved tee or cozy sweater… the ones you reach for over and over, even if the fit isn’t quite right anymore. 🤍

I’ve had so many pieces like that sitting in my closet—too boxy, too long, just not quite it—but I couldn’t let them go.

So… I started reworking them.

✨ I’m now offering T-shirt & sweater alterations with a soft, feminine scallop hem ✨

It’s the sweetest little detail that completely transforms a basic piece into something you actually feel good wearing again. Think: your favorite old band tee, your go-to lounge sweater, or that oversized shirt you wish had a bit more shape… all brought back to life with a custom scalloped finish.

Each piece is carefully tailored by hand, keeping the integrity of the garment while giving it a fresh, elevated look.

Welcome to my little business! 👋🏻

If you’re new here, thank you so much for following along. It’s been a busy season behind the scenes! My youngest daughter and I recently made the big move from Alberta to BC, blending our families with my amazing partner, Tyler, and his girls.

Tyler is a long-time local of the Shuswap, and after a three-year process, we are SO excited to finally call this beautiful area our home. It’s been our “home away from home” for so long, and we couldn’t be happier to officially be here. 🥰

What to expect on this page:
I’m planning to be much more present here, sharing all the fun things I’m busy sewing up in my mini micro sewing studio! If you see something you love, or know someone who might, please feel free to share my page. Word of mouth means the world to small businesses like mine!

If you see me around town, please say hi! In my free time, you’ll usually find me on the golf course with my sweetie or flying down the ski hills on my mountain bike. ✌🏻
