a rebrand won’t fix what a lack of strategy broke.

there, I said it 🫣

if you’ve invested in a new look and still felt like something wasn’t clicking after launch, the design probably wasn’t the issue. it’s what came before the design that matters.

strategy first. always. swipe through to see what I mean.

save this one if you’re planning a rebrand in the near future. 👇

has been doing things the right way since 2004. small batches, therapeutic-grade oils, a founder who has never once taken a shortcut. twenty years of that kind of intention builds something you don’t just redesign, you evolve it.

our job was to give it room to grow. an evolutionary refresh that honoured the original and built something current enough to carry the next twenty years. fresher, more built-out, and a website that finally matches the quality of what’s inside every bottle.

and the website is an experience on its own, which felt right for a brand that’s entirely about the sensory. 🌿

yes, I am a genuine fan. the new personal care line has been living on my shower shelf since it launched. the shower mist is my absolute favourite, the face oil is stunning, and the body wash and lotion are the kind of quality you just don’t find everywhere.

head to aromacare.ca to browse, shop, and give them a follow while you’re at it.

if your brand has grown into something your current look can’t hold anymore, let’s talk.

your website might be the reason they didn’t reach out 👀

they found you. they’ve been watching your work. they’re at the point where they’re thinking okay, this is the one. so they go to your site to confirm what they already feel.

and something is off…

The messaging doesn’t match the version of you they’ve been following. the experience doesn’t reflect the quality of what you actually do. it feels like a brand you’ve outgrown, not one they want to grow into.

So they close the tab.

this is one of the most common things we see with established business owners who have real traction, real expertise, and real results for their clients — but a brand and website that hasn’t kept up.

when that changes, everything shifts.

Holly saw her inquiries increase drastically the moment her site launched.

Danielle W. noticed an immediate upscale shift in her clientele.

Claire became completely obsessed + proud of the brand she’d built.

Danielle J. finally had the confidence to charge her worth.

Brandyn raised his package pricing by +138%.

This isn’t because they got lucky. It’s becuase their brand finally matched the level they were already operating at.

your website should be closing dream clients while you’re off the clock. if it’s not doing that right now, it’s not a visibility issue. it’s your strategy + alignment.

and that’s exactly what we fix.

if your website has been on your “i really need to deal with this” list, drop a comment below or send me a DM. let’s take a look at where you’re at.

Picture this.

you stumble across our Showit template shop on a Friday. you pick the one that stops you mid-scroll because it just *feels* like you.

you spend the weekend customizing it—your colors, your words, your offers.. and with our DIY course walking you through every step. You don’t have any tech meltdowns. You don’t have to hire anyone. And you aren’t waiting months for a custom project.

sunday night you hit publish.

monday morning you actually *want* to send people to your website.

the kind of website you’re actually proud to send people to. one that looks intentional, works the way it should, and finally feels like the business you’ve been building all along.

that’s what our Showit templates were made for. conversion-first, customizable, and ready for you to make your own.. this weekend if you want.

a little late, but here’s what March actually looked like 🌸

Honestly one of my favourite months in a while. Charlotte turned ONE (how is that possible already?! 🥹), and we celebrated her in the best way. I also somehow finished two quilted blankets, an iPad case, a tote bag for my sister, and a cushion cover for my sons little reading nook. The sewing machine has been one of my favourite decisions this year.

Went to the .apothecary x spring equinox workshop which was exactly the kind of reset I didn’t know I needed. and then with VIP night with a stay at beautiful Pearle Hotel with my roomie . That one was so good for the soul.

in between all of that: library hangs with the kids + , building magna tile towers that are definitely taller than they should be, getting my sourdough back on the counter, and finally getting back outside for walks after what felt like the longest winter on record (shoutout to for being the best accountability walking partner.

March felt like a breath of fresh air in every way and I am here for it (and the warmer weather).

what were your glimmers this month? I want to hear the big ones and the small ones. 🌼

your website clocks in every single day without you asking. 365 days a year, 24/7, no sick days, no holidays.

so let me ask you something.. is it actually earning its keep?

most established business owners I talk to have the same thing going on. their business has grown, their rates have gone up, their clients have gotten more aligned. but their website is still doing the bare minimum. it looks fine. it’s there. but it’s not working.

your website should be your hardest working team member. it should be telling the right person they’ve found exactly who they’re looking for. it should be building trust before you ever get on a call. it should be making your offer feel like the obvious choice, without you needing to be in the room.

if it’s not doing that, it’s not a website problem. it’s a brand alignment problem. your business has outgrown the version of you that built that site and your website hasn’t caught up yet.

she’s overdue for a promotion. 👆

Last year, I walked into this room on a whim…
3 weeks postpartum, baby on my chest, wondering what I was doing there.

This year was different in so many ways
I walked in a new version of myself
leaving both my babies overnight for the first time.

And wow… what a difference a year makes.

Not just in logistics but in who I am.

If I could go back and sit beside that version of me, I’d tell her:
You belong here.
You’re not behind.
You’re allowed to take up space in both motherhood and business.

Last year, I was in and out of sessions… feeding, changing, trying to keep up.

This year, something simple stuck with me:
Take what you need, and leave the rest -

And looking back, that’s exactly what happened this past year

The right connections stayed.
The aligned opportunities grew.
And everything else fell away. ✌🏼

This year felt more grounded
But still very much in the middle of becoming.

I’m so excited to see what this next year holds…
and who I’ll be when I’m back here again reflecting on it 🤍

And what you’ve created with is truly something special. So grateful to be in this room.

New here? Hi, I’m Ashley. Swipe through to get to know me and Monarch Design Co.

I’m the person behind the brands of established visionaries + business owners who have outgrown their DIY era. I build strategic brands + websites that do the heavy lifting before a discovery call ever happens.

If your brand has been pushed to the back burner as a something you “really need to fix,” that feeling is worth paying attention to.

Let’s start the conversation and see what’s possible

30/03/2026

My clients see this kind of shift:

They stop avoiding sending people to their website. Instead they’re excited to invite people to their corner of the internet.
They get inquiries from people who already feel like the right fit before the first call.
They raise their prices and people say yes.
They stop second-guessing every decision.
They stop shrinking to fit a brand they’ve outgrown.
They lean into their expertise and own the room.

That’s what happens when your brand + website finally catches up to who you’ve become. And it just keeps building from there.

At Monarch Design Co. We build strategic brand + website design for established women-led businesses ready for their next chapter.

She already had the brand. She just needed a website that could hold it properly.

Brittany of came to Monarch having already done so much of the foundational work. She had her branding, her shoot, her story. What was missing was a real online home where her dream clients could land, learn, and feel the depth of what she offers before they ever reached out.

We built out her Showit website together, and the whole focus was making sure it actually felt like Brittany. Her warmth, her authority, the breadth of what she does for her clients. All of it needed to come through the second someone arrived on the page.

She shared this after we wrapped:

“Ashley understood the vision I had and brought everything to life beautifully.

She cares about ensuring that you are well represented as a brand and that you receive the ROI you’re looking for. She’s quick, efficient and listens carefully.”

That’s the goal every single time. A website that feels like you at your best, and gives the right people every reason to stay.

If your website isn’t doing that job right now, let’s change that. Send me a DM and let’s talk about what’s possible for you.
