Well finally got my micro sdram cards into my cameras .. used gparted to reformat the fat32 partition as a fat32 partition.. then they showed up. Kinda jazzed.. been bugging myself about them for awhile now

K I have a Sony Vaio laptop.. just did os install .. win10 and install. Runs great and is my print server. . I'm doing up flyers with a qrcode. Hope I get some new followers

My brother Andrew gave me a quad core motherboard.. didn't power on today. Took it to eit.ca power supply tested good. Problem was with the hard drive.. failed. Which is a shame because it booted up really fast. Reinstall elive Linux on a different hard drive.. sorta happy

well :) had a nice job.. nice for me which meant i didn't have to pop the cover.. kat burt's computer wouldn't power on.. um so i picked it up took it to my place.. stabbed the power button a couple of times and it fired up. so i didn't have to pop the cmos battery .. i basically was at it's 50/50 chance she'll come back on.. but thank goodness that it did w/o any effort.. i picked up a dvd rw for her at eit.ca .. tom installed it.. and interestingly enough couldn't find a drive that matched the mounting bracket because they've gone half height so a slimmer profile means there's a gap.. might help w/ cooling. kat said she didn't mind.. and now she has the options of using her dvd rw.. like playing movies.. or burning creative art work.. she has a background in marketing .. and i think that's it in terms of issues her computer has had.. think it ran relatively cool when i had it here.. installed the latest linux. enjoy your night :)

found out how to get a no media usb stick back up and running. so i'm pretty jazzed about that. the secret was using ' diskpart ' program. have to select the drive and mine was drive 5.. do a clean command on it.. then a format=ntfs w/o quick format for the hour long wait.. but it happened.. the drive is now a ntfs drive now.. um was able to install the latest elive stable onto a same size drive as well. was able to boot into an elive desktop.. but i've got an exclamation mark on the linux partition on the hard drive. not sure what to do about it.. i can't install to a drive that says it's not there.. hope you are enjoying your day :) :)

well had a panic attack.. watched no keyboard no mouse in the bios.. so that's a virus on the hardware level. took it into eit.ca who plugged it in and it started working fine. only thing i did was leave it in the car trunk overnight. took it back to Jo-Anne Hill.. set it up and it ran no problems no signs of a glitch. whatever corruption was going on fizzled out overnight.

aaannnd tried to help Maureen Ann Fennelly with her first gmail.. got to a code request but had no clue who the recovery email was.. started w/ je and had 6 characters after that.. and also was a gmail. i was writing a note to google hoping to get a new password that way.. when i got tired of being accused of setting up the original gmail when it was done before i knew of maureen.. frustrating because somehow keep leaning on me as if i had set up the account in the first place doesn't make me come up w/ a password i don't know.
