You don't need a production budget to show up on video anymore — you need a phone and something worth saying.
Across almost every platform right now, short-form video is outperforming static posts in reach and engagement, often by a wide margin. The algorithms have made their preference clear. What's harder for a lot of businesses to accept is that the winning videos usually aren't polished — they're authentic.
A 30-second clip of a real team member answering a real question a customer asked last week will often out-perform a beautifully designed graphic that took hours to produce. People can tell the difference between content made for the algorithm and content made for them.
A simple way to start: think of the one question your customers ask most often, and answer it on camera. Not a script, not a studio — just a clear, direct answer, filmed the way you'd explain it in person. Repeat that weekly and you have a content engine that costs almost nothing and sounds exactly like your business, not a generic version of it.
Digital marketing works best when it still feels human. Video is one of the easiest ways to prove that.
Have you tried putting your business in front of a camera yet?
