The Brockville Operatic Society proudly presents:

Lionel Bart's OLIVER!

This classic tale, infused with vibrant music and captivating choreography, is set to memorable tunes such as “Oom Pah Pah,” "Consider Yourself," and "Food, Glorious Food.” The musical follows the orphan Oliver as he navigates the streets of Victorian London, from the squalor of the workhouse to the underworld of pickpockets and thieves led by the charismatic Fagin.

Exploring themes of resilience, friendship, and the quest for belonging, the musical is set against the backdrop of a society divided by wealth and poverty. With its catchy melodies and compelling storytelling, "Oliver" continues to captivate audiences of all ages, offering a timeless tale of hope and redemption amidst adversity.

The latest announcement: Another loss of activity at the Brockville Arts Centre. With the apparent inability to repair or replace its film projector equipment at the BAC in a timely manner, local group Film Brockville has made a decision and arrangements with the Galaxy Cinema Brockville to feature its movies. Visit www.filmbrockville.ca for the announcement of 6 dates from now until the year end. How many other local user groups are going to opt for alternative location? This is quickly becoming a tragedy for the Arts Centre....
