FBI is warning about DNSChanger Malware. It is around and set to go off on Monday. It is type of Malware which can redirect you to different websites hosted by scamming crooks. Be careful on Monday and do not fall victim to this SCAM. If you are infected with it, it can redirect to some look like website and can collect your confidential information. You can check at links below if you computer is infected or not.

Beware of Scams!
Recently, I have learned that the number of scammers making calls in the Greater Toronto Area has seemed to increase; a few of my clients called me to ask about them and I explained that these are scamming calls.

Oftentimes, these Scammers call business/home offices and pretend to be calling on behalf of Microsoft or they will tell you that they are authorized by Microsoft. They may use scare tactics and tell you that your computer is infected with a virus, “blah blah blah”. Then they often ask you to go to Windows’ START button and select RUN. They will then tell you to enter a code that they provide- Windows return a code which is common to all Windows in same version. They will say that it is the serial number of your computer, which they will give you to match. They may threaten with legal consequences if someone resists them. Furthermore, they will tell you that they can send their tech to clean up your computer to comply with “blah blah blah”. They can also threaten you if you are running an illegal copy of Windows to try and scam you.
First of all, it is not the Serial number of your Computer. Second, Microsoft has no information about you to tell someone to call you. Third, Microsoft does not know if you are running genuine Windows or not; your computer’s illegal Windows message does not mean that Microsoft is spying on you and know all about you!

How to Capture computer screen active window or whole screen?

Windows on PC:

* capture active window; press Alt + PrtScn keys.
* capture whole screen; press PrtScn key.
Windows on MAC:

* capture active window; press Fn + Shift + Option + F11 keys.
* capture whole screen; press Fn + Shift + F11 keys.
