A custom 46" magnetic loop using a vacuum variable capacitor to tune this baby from 17m through to below 80m.. I enjoyed making several easy and surprising contacts on 75/80m. Here you see it supplied with custom tripod being crated up for its journey to South Carolina to its new owner.

A prototype antenna for a friend/beta tester. As it sits, it covers 12m through 20, then with the padding capacitor 20m through 40m and beyond. Should handle 400 watts or more.

This is a short video clip of a contact that I just made from my QTH indoors (near Windsor, Ontario) using a new custom loop that I am building for a friend. Here, I check into the InterCon Net on 14.300 MHz. The net controller was near Huston Texas running 1KW, and he was totally blown away that he heard me QRP, indoor antenna under current poor band conditions.

Just putting the finishing touches on this custom wide band 10 meter thru about 80 meter magnetic loop. Good for 100 watts, 28" diameter, using 2" aluminum tube, with matching tripod. The antenna is very light, with the Vacuum Variable Capacitor being the bulk of the weight.
