Out of the old and into the new… 2025 → 2026.

From loss to love, one end of the spectrum to the next —
it all blends, and somehow becomes the same: moments shaping us, teaching us, asking us to grow. It’s all love at the end of the day.

Lessons, gratitude, and a quieter knowing
that everything leaves its mark and carries us forward.

Thank you 2025 for all the lessons and blessings, big and small.

Entering 2026 a little softer, more open and more vulnerable. 🤍🩶

She is the one constant in this household of just us two, and holds so much of it together. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Have you ever seen these fields?

The more you know… these are bright yellow canola fields, harvested to make canola oil!

Did you know that Alberta Canada is the biggest producer of canola oil in the world? Who knew? 🤣

Even though there’s lots of debate on whether canola oil is good or bad, it sure is pretty to see while driving around! Especially with a blue sky, the colors pop! In some areas, the flowers were so dense that they looked like velvet carpet 😂

Anyway, this was fun to do on a quiet sunny day!
