🏆 BEHIND THE WIN | South Shore Fences

What does it mean to win a Yarmouth Business Award? For Kevin Sly, owner of South Shore Fences, it meant knowing his community believed in what he was building.

Our 2025 Rising Star Award recipient reflects on the recognition:

“Winning the Rising Star Award meant so much to me because it showed that our community believed in what we were building at South Shore Fences. Starting a business takes hard work and a leap of faith, and that recognition gave me even more confidence to keep moving forward. The People’s Choice Award – Business of the Year, sponsored by Scotia Metals Corp., returns for the 2026 Yarmouth Business Awards! 🎉

• Each individual may submit one nomination only.

Once nominations close, the Chamber will review submissions and create a shortlist of eligible businesses. The public will then vote to determine the winner!

🏆 The winner will be revealed at the 2026 Yarmouth Business Awards Gala on October 22 at the Mariners Centre, presented by RBC and Doane Grant Thornton.
