HELP ME HELP MY JAMAICAN FAMILY!
Eight years ago, my daughter married a wonderful man named Ricky, who came from a large Jamaican family, most of whom still live on the island. The recent hurricane has completely devastated every member of his family. They have lost their homes and all their possessions. 2 of the family members are still unaccounted for. We just heard from one sister who said she just ran out of drinking water and hopes to get help before the family dies of thirst. Ricky's Dad has not been in the best of health and has now lost everything, including all his medication and all necessities. Ricky will be flying to Jamaica as soon as it is possible to do so, to go help his Dad and the rest of the family. He will be bringing as many suitcases as he can, packed with essentials like underwear, soap, tampons, clothing, deodorant, toothbrushes and toothpaste.... Things we all take for granted and which the majority of Jamaicans, as well as every one of Ricky's family members, are all in need of. Their kids run from 2 years old to 16, and they've lost everything too. The more people like you are willing to help, the more we will be able to buy and bring to Jamaica to directly give to this specific family.
Rather than start up another Go-Fund-Me, I am hoping that a lot of you will be willing to help me with this "Adopt A Family" theme. Whether giving $10 or $100+, every cent will go towards helping the Reynolds family - my family! Please message me if you are willing to help. The leadership of the Airdrie Chamber will vouch for me - they know that every cent collected will go to the family!
Thank you
