Something a little different.
We were called out to look at a clients tractor.
He needed now LED lighting wired up and a new radio installed.
He uses the tractor for snow clearing, and wants to be able to see better at night and enjoy some tunes while he works.
We wired up 6 led lights and installed a basic Kenwood headunit.
Everything will be well lit and rocking while he moves snow.

LEXUS RX350 Viper Remote Starter
We headed out of town to assist a client with getting a Viper 2way remote starter in her Lexus.
She has had this unit before and was excited to get another one installed in her vehicle before the weather starts to get cold.
She now is able to Locker her doors , Open her power liftgate and start her vehicle from up to 2 miles away.
And all the information is clearly shown on her remote, so no more guessing if the car is running or the doors were left un locked.

2008 4Runner Alpine technology upgrade!
This client called up up to have his beautiful 4Runner upgraded.
He supplied us with some of our favorite products.
Alpine ILX-F507
Sirius XM
And all the Idatalink modules to get the integration complete.

We removed his factory Navigation radio and replaced it with something much more up to date.
He now has Wireless Smartphone connection
Sirius XM
Steering controls work,
Factory JBL audio still works.
OEM backup camera was retained.
He now has all of todays technology is his like new truck.
This 4Runner only has 40,000 original KM on it. Unbelievable!

2024 Silverado Kicker Bass Upgrade!
Another GM truck driver has contacted us for a much needed bass update.
So of course we set him up with the new KICKER GM Sub box that hold 2 12" L7T subs and is built with an incredible finish and quality.
Powering this box we used the CXA1200.1 delivering all the power this box needs.
Because this truck came equipped with the BOSE system, we used the Kicker KEYloc to interface and correct the audio signal that is going into the amplifier.
Everything powered up with Kicker OFC power wire.
You have to get a little creative with mounting solutions with these new GM trucks as there isnt much room behind the seat.
So we built a mount that tucks in behind the seat and out of the way using oem mounting locations.
Another successful bass upgrade, and of course by using the best products we get the best results.

2015 GMC Sierra Denali BIG SCREEN!
This client called us up and let us know it was time for an upgrade for his work truck.
The factory radio was fine, but its getting slow and the mapping is no longer updateable.
The truck already had the factory 8" screen so he wanted a bigger option.
So we supplied him with the biggest screen that Alpine has to offer the ILX-F511.
11" of HD audio and display.
This truck is equipped with the factory BOSE audio system. Which is very difficult to retain when you change the radio, Most places will tell you to rewire the truck, or replace the amplifier.
We are better than that. SO we built a system with various modules and some creative solutions to make it all work like it is supposed to .
He now has a HUGE screen in the dash, Wireless smartphone connection, Tidal Audio, vehicle information and settings, steering controls and oem backup camera still work.
These big screens look so good in these trucks when done right.

TECH TUESDAY!
Today we want to talk about power wire.
Many times the power wire that is purchased with an amplifier is a secondary thought. Just something you "have" to get. But there is more to it.
I see lots out there with people saying wire is wire and it doesn't matter.
That couldn't be further from the truth.
Everyone is looking to save a few buck now a days and we get it.
And yes CCA wire is cheaper, and in some cases looks the same.
But it is not. It fails faster dur to higher resistance and corrosion, when it fails, at a connection point it can actually cause damage to the vehicle, we have seen it many times.
Oh, and like out friend John Myers at KICKER shows in this video. You actually get way less power from your amplifier just from a cheaper wire.

We could go on for days about power wire and all of your options.

But know this...
We ONLY install pure OFC wire on all of our amplifier installations.
and ALL of our Kicker amplifiers ONLY get Kicker power wire kits installed with them (and you as the consumer get an extra year of warranty because of that)
