The temperature sensor on my 3D printer failed. I'm pretty sure it is a frayed or burned wire but too close to the end to repair. And I found that 5 of the same sensor made up with a 1 meter pigtail for a different machine were cheaper than one with a 10 cm pigtail for my machine. So I bought the 5 and spliced the wires.

I did get one spare with the machine I had been using while waiting on shipping. But I swapped in my repair to be sure it works. And it does.

This piece of a microphone stand from church was missing the plastic stopper on the end of the screw. I was able to design and 3D print a replacement. Now to see if it lasts.

A Vitamix blender in the shop with a broken speed selector. I was able to repair the dial and also gave the machine a quick service while I had it open.

This is a Dyson V6 cordless vacuum that was given to me because it was broken and needs a new battery. The spring that holds the latch keeping the two halves of the head unit together was missing. I was able to fit in one from a junk box.

I sold the vacuum for a low price with the recommendation to adapt it to a power tool battery. I typically use a shopvac for everything anyway because they are repair friendly.

A Dyson stick vacuum came into my shop with the complaint it would start and stop constantly. It left 10 seconds later because I just told the customer it needs a new filter after testing it with the filter removed and it ran steady.

The replacement filters aren't expensive.

It is not economical to fix LED light bulbs since they are quite cheap. But they often are repairable and I repair my own for fun.

This vacuum cleaner had an on/off switch full of dust and wouldn't latch on. Luckily nothing was melted so I opened the switch and cleaned it greased it and closed it back up. And it started working again.

This is the head unit from the console of a car. The touchscreen was malfunctioning which is a known issue but the car was out of warranty. I did a swap of the digitizer which goes in front of the screen to enable touch functions.
