You walk into work and find a USB drive in front of the door.
Someone has written โPAYROLLโ on it.
Would you plug it into your computer to see who it belongs to?
That curiosity is exactly what an attacker could be counting on.
An unknown USB device should never be connected to a company computer. It could contain malware designed to compromise the device, steal information, or provide a way into the network.
If you find one, hand it to your IT team. Donโt investigate it yourself.
Now ask your employees the same question:
Would they plug it in?
