Botswana has not been left out in the space of state-of-the-art technology, as evidenced by the unleashing of a locally made educational Artificial Intelligence (AI) dubbed "Lesedi."

Lesedi allows you or your kid to ask any educational question encompassing any material from Primary School, Junior and Senior Schools and receive an automatic reply. It is an effective way to get home works and assignments done as it is aligned to the local syllabus.

Lesedi is embedded in Grey Matter Hub, which is a local study Website.

Grey Matter Hub is your online tutor while Lesedi is your study partner. To access the two, Visit:

•Click the menu icon on the top right, select register and fill in the details.

•Log in and enter your details

•Click 'View classes' on the home page and select the subject and level/grade of your choice where you access revision material.

•Still on the same Website, locate a bulb at the bottom right corner, click it and type to ask Lesedi questions for swift responses.

A monthly subscription fee for revision material is P100 and it covers all provided subjects. You'll be required to upload proof of payment.

President Mokgweetsi Masisi has announced plans to introduce a digital currency which will lead to the usage of online transactions in place of cash.

This follows the visit of his Bahamian counterpart, Philip Davis, who echoed Masisi's utterances.

According to the duo who are hosting a joint press conference, Botswana will benchmark from Bahamas, on digitizing Botswana's currency.

Should the plans succeed, payments will be done through technological devices such as smartphones et. Cetera, in the place of cash.

Bahamas currently uses a digital currency, dubbed "SandDollar."
