Ever seen a design that made you stop scrolling instantly? 👀
That’s not luck, it’s good design.
Here are 3 simple ways to identify a great design:
1️⃣ Clear Message
A good design communicates its idea in seconds. If people need to “figure it out,” the design is already failing.
2️⃣ Visual Balance
Look at spacing, alignment, and layout. Great designs feel organized and easy on the eyes, not crowded or chaotic.
3️⃣ Strong Focus Point
Your eyes should immediately know where to look first. Whether it’s a headline, product, or call-to-action.
Quick Example:
Imagine a restaurant flyer. A good design highlights the food photo, uses a bold headline like “Weekend Special”, and keeps the colors and fonts consistent. A bad design would have too many fonts, too much text, and no clear focus.
Good design isn’t just about looking nice. It helps people understand and take action.
Now I’m curious…
