The sounds of the palace inhabitants are based on ethnic instruments, constructed around the Maqam - a traditional arabic music system.
Each action generates a different note or chord so the melody and harmony are generated depending on what is happening around.

Did you know? The palace of Qasir al-Wasat is based in two real life palaces: Qasir al-Hayr al-Sharqui and its twin, Qasir al-Hayr al-Gharbi. Both were located in the desert of Tudmur, in Syria. Qasir al-Sharqi means the Palace of the East and Qasir al-Gharbi the Palace of the West. Qasir al-Wasat would be located between them, meaning the Palace of/in the Middle.

Exciting times are coming. We are very proud to announce that Qasir al-Wasat is days away from being released. From the production room we can say that the game is finished, and the team is currently in full debug mode. We will be announcing the release date very soon.
