Burundi Backbone System (BBS) is a consortium of Burundian telecoms operators that joined forces together to build out a national fibre-optic backbone network with help from the World Bank. Launched in March 2013, (BBS) is a national internet service provider that is based on broadband connectivity provided over the largest fiber-optic network across Burundi. Our vision is to connect Burundi with
the rest of the world through submarine cables landing regional and neighboring Indian and Atlantic coasts. Our Core Values & Beliefs:
