When designing a logotype I usually do all the lockups, horizontal, vertical, symbol on its on etc. Trying to cover possible uses, foresee problems and ensure flexibility. I have this pain point where contemporary expectations and turnaround times aren’t sufficient to test all you want to test or to reflect on what you’ve made at times. So sometimes I overdo it. That’s when usually experience and an informed guess would come into play. But you can’t always rely on those.

I found this version of the Voyager logotype as part of the final package send to the client. Turns out it’s not that aesthetic or useful, I believe it’s never been used as any part of officials Voyager | Design & Development communication. Happily my clients have better taste than me :)

Graphic mark for technology company “Xpand”.

The client contacted me with a very tight timeline, but since they’re old client that I really like I couldn’t refuse. I managed to surprise myself with the amount and quality of work I was able to produce in that time frame.
