We are seeking to hire a self-managed and motivated Automation QA for one of our partnership projects.
THE JOB:
Our Crypto Wallet is used to access apps and financial services built on the EVM networks: Ethereum, Polygon, BSC, Avalanche, and many more. As a QA engineer, you’ll work closely with our best engineers by creating processes and automating testing while focusing on quality, security, and velocity.
Responsibilities:
🔹 Work with the engineering team to establish formal QA processes, ensuring that the team uses industry-accepted best practices.
🔹 Build a test-driven engineering culture that drives improvements in quality.
🔹 Automate user stories and develop a way to generate test data.
🔹 Partner with the engineering team to leverage automation to allow better reliability and scalability.
🔹 Drive performance testing efforts and capture key metrics that help to scale the platform.
🔹 Develop and execute test cases, plans, and procedures for applications on the desktop browser and mobile.
🔹 Test both front-end UI and back-end services.
🔹 Work with engineers and project leads to triage and prioritize issues for resolution.
Requirements:
☑ 3+ years experience in web quality assurance (incl. Manual testing).
☑ 1+ years of previous experience in writing automated tests.
☑ Experience in end-to-end testing with Detox/Cypress or a similar end-to-end test automation tool for mobile apps will be a plus.
☑ Solid experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
☑ Knowledge of QA methodologies, and various stages of software quality assurance including ☑ Black Box / White Box / Gray box, test planning, reporting/control, and root cause analysis.
☑ Experience in Functional/Unit testing, User Acceptance Testing, Integration testing, System testing, Sanity testing, and Backend testing.
☑ Technical background.
☑ Experience in testing web apps, mobile apps, and APIs.
☑ Eager to learn and develop QA Automation scripts.
☑ Ability to adapt and willingness to learn new technology or techniques.
☑ Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
☑ Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
☑ Ability to work in a team and on your own.
☑ A Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field would be considered an asset.
☑ Practical knowledge of Git.
☑ Very good written and spoken English.
While experience in the blockchain space is preferred – having general excitement about web3 is a must!
