This classic Rev G came to the shop for general servicing and recap, new preamp sockets as 3 of them were damaged, some touch-ups and Series FX Loop mod.

This Rev G got a full recap and refresh, broken preamp sockets replaced, Series FX Loop and tube matching. It sounds just right! 👌

Rectified this Rev G situation.
Fixed broken tube sockets, wrong pots, melted wires, bad mains wiring. Modded from Parallel FX Loop to Series one. (video on that on my YouTube channel soon).
Ready for some play testing!

HOW TO FIX THE IIC+ REISSUE OSCILLATION
Just move the black wire coming out of the reverb transformer from Point A to Point B (solder it back on the reverb tank's return jack ground/shield tab, together with the grey wire that is already there).
This fixes a ground loop that causes oscillation/squeal and instability within the preamp.
This goes for all Mark IIC+ Reissue amps (C+ and C++, DRG and HRG).
