How do our developers use AI in their day-to-day work? We asked Lev, Senior Software Developer at RCXAnalytics. No magic here: just routine tasks, tricky production bugs, and new skills that level up every engineer.

💬 What tasks and routine processes does the team trust in artificial intelligence?

"- Initial root-cause analysis and error log review (including environment comparison).
- Creating Jira tickets and filling out data tables.
- Generating manual test cases from automation code.
- Proposing technical solutions and writing code based on ready requirements (with mandatory human review due to occasional hallucinations)."

💬What is the most unusual or coolest case you've recently solved using neural networks?

“We had a production bug where data was getting lost in a process iterating over hundreds of thousands of DB records (reproducible only in production). After two hours of thinking, Claude came up with a working hypothesis. We used it to prompt a fix, deployed it to prod, and the issue was gone”

💬What skills will become the most important in a couple of years?

“The ability to focus on mundane data and formulate precise prompts (acting as an AI prompt engineer).
The skill to properly break down tasks into isolated components so the AI doesn't get confused and helps implement things layer by layer. Surprise, surprise: these are the exact same skills that make a great engineer today.“

We use this format for team leads and managers. Every few weeks, they meet with our Training & Development Manager to sharpen the exact skills they need to tackle new challenges.

Great corporate culture isn't just a list of bullet points in a job description; it’s the atmosphere we create every day.

We recently treated ourselves to the perfect mid-week break with a sweet little team timeout to beat the summer heat the best way possible an ice cream party right in the office!

Everyone got to pick their favorite flavor, but the real bonus was connecting outside of daily tasks. Moments like these help us recharge, get to know each other better, share ideas, and boost our spirits.

We value comfort and a warm team dynamic because that’s what truly drives us to achieve great results together.

A great team is always about more than just day-to-day work tasks. We’re home to so many talented people with amazing and unique hobbies, which is why we’re kicking off a series highlighting their passions and personal projects!

This time, we’re spotlighting Ivan, who has been into robotics since 2016. He put his hobby to work in an educational initiative launched by another team member (a tech lab for kids) where he built a fully functional spider robot and stepped up as a mentor:

“Assembling this spider wasn’t too complicated, but 3D printing all the parts took a good amount of time. I used an open-source project for the models, parts list, and software. My goal was to walk the kids in the lab through the entire process step-by-step: from concept to a fully working device. For every lesson, I prepared a new module, brought it in, and explained in detail how it was made, how it works, and what role it plays in the robot.”

We absolutely love seeing our team’s personal passions turn into such meaningful, heartwarming initiatives.

The key to a strong team is the ability to support one another not just during complex project launches, but outside the office too.

We made the absolute most of this summer, testing our strength across two completely different formats. In July, our team tackled the extreme Legion Run obstacle course, proving that no barrier is impassable when we work together.

By August, we shifted gears and took to the soccer pitch, putting our strategy, teamwork, and quick thinking to the test.

Moments like these build true trust. When you know a teammate has your back on an obstacle course or covers for you in defense on the field, collaborating on day-to-day work reaches a whole new level!

So proud of our athletic, high-energy team! ⚡️

We’re continuing to give you a deeper look into our teams at RingCentral! 🌐

Today, the spotlight is on our General Web team, the minds behind the "face" of our company. They manage global marketing sites as well as customer support portals, corporate blogs, and core e-commerce workflows.

Beyond web development, the group includes dedicated Web Performance and Data Analytics units, along with an Automation team that ensures quality across more than 4,000 functional points and thousands of articles!

We asked Yuriy, Director of Engineering, 3 key questions about how they run their tech stack and engineering processes:

Q: If you had to describe your stack using three key components or approaches, what would they be?
“We have a diverse and interesting ecosystem. Our main websites and Support Portal currently run on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), but we are actively migrating to a modern Headless CMS approach. The Signups module is built on Symfony (PHP) with Vue.js on the frontend. And, as with any large-scale product, we also have some legacy code.”

Q: Do you use AI in your daily work?
“Yes, we actively integrate AI tools directly into our development workflow to automate routine tasks and speed up code writing and review.”

Q: How do you solve the sync challenge between design and code? How strict is your design system?

“We currently take a flexible approach: instead of a rigid framework, we have a set of adaptable components that allow us to assemble most required interfaces. At the same time, we’re entering a new phase alongside our Web Marketing and Design teams to strictly adhere to an updated, unified design system.”

Developing the local IT community and sharing knowledge are core parts of our values and culture. Just recently, our office hosted a joint meetup with DEV.BG, where we dove deep into modern approaches to QA and automation.

The agenda featured two insightful technical talks:

👉Anti-Patterns in Testing
Dmitri discussed common practices that quietly turn into harmful patterns, shared real-world case studies, and compared practical engineering experience with AI-generated recommendations.
👉Craftdriver: Browser Automation Library
Dimitar presented a library built on top of WebDriver / BiDi standards, demonstrating how to combine Playwright-like ergonomics with W3C standards and AI tooling (MCP server, CLI).

Thank you to all participants for the thoughtful questions! The attendees with the most engaging questions walked away with our gifts 🎁, and we wrapped up the evening with a raffle, snacks, and great networking.
