Last night, our youngest talent from CyberXperts team - Lyubomir Georgiev took the stage of the DEV.BG Cybersecurity Community meetup to dive deep into the topic:
“Beyond the Sandbox: AI-Powered Threat Hunting with Assemblyline.”

Lyubomir explored some of the most pressing SOC challenges today — from noise, prioritization, and scalability to ensuring safe malware analysis. He then demonstrated how AI modules such as automatic summarization, IoC extraction, and campaign clustering are transforming the way analysts detect and respond to threats.
He also performed live end-to-end demo showing the full journey — from sample ingestion and AI-driven analysis to report generation, correlation, and active hunting/response.

We’re proud to see Lyubomir representing CyberXperts among Bulgaria’s top cybersecurity professionals — proving that innovation and passion know no age.

"Hackers blackmail major companies after large-scale Oracle breach", was the cybersecurity hot topic last week, which proved once again that no system is too big to fail. Cybercriminals are extorting major companies by claiming to have stolen sensitive data after an alleged breach in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) — one of the most widely used ERP platforms worldwide.

"Unfortunately, we have official confirmation of the attack from the manufacturer Oracle itself, several international cybersecurity companies involved in attack analysis, as well as from affected companies, who indicate that they have already received emails blackmailing them into paying a ransom to the hacker organization if they do not want their extracted data to be made public.", said Lubomir Tulev, CEO of CyberXperts for Capital, the most impactful business and economic media in Bulgaria. He also explained that, since there are no specific indicators of whether an organization is affected, an analysis should be conducted and indicators of compromise (Indicator of Compromise, IOC) should be looked for, such as suspicious connections from EBS Java/Web processes to unknown domains/IP addresses (usually on port 443), etc.

Even though it was a cold and rainy October day, the atmosphere at the eCommerce Annual Summit in Sofia was nothing but energetic and inspiring!

We truly enjoyed all expert talks focused on eCommerce, marketing, and sales, but also brought a fresh topic to the table — cybersecurity. Considering that e-commerce is among hackers' main targets (35% in 2024) due to the amount of customer data and online payments, not only leading to financial loss, but also downtime, lost revenue and damage of the customer trust. According to latest statistics, 80% of cyberattacks affect small and mid-sized business and 43% of them lose their customers as a result. So what’s growth without protection was the main focus of CyberXpertsCEO Lubomir Tulev presentation – “Open your website for shoppers, Blackwall will close it for hackers.”

We had an amazing time, participating in ISACA DAY 2025, held on September 29th at Inter Expo Center, Sofia.

Our colleague Lyubomir Georgiev – Cybersecurity Engineer at CyberXperts – took the stage to deliver an engaging session on: "Beyond the Sandbox – AI-powered Threat Hunting with Assemblyline". He presented insights into advanced threat hunting methodologies and conducted a live demonstration of Assemblyline’s capabilities.
