For yet another year, Experian Bulgaria proudly supported Hack TUES § TUES FEST - one of the most significant student technology events in the country.

The 12th edition of Hack TUES, held between 25 and 28 March 2026, brought together an impressive 362 students, organized into 80 teams, who worked intensively for more than 60 hours to develop innovative technology solutions.

During the coding days, our colleague Ivan Trendafilov, Senior Software Engineer, joined Hack TUES 12 as a mentor, guiding teams through technical challenges, helping them refine their ideas, and sharing real-world insights from the software engineering profession.

At the finals, our special Experian award was presented to team La Espada, students from 9th grade, for their project Wazzer – a smart shower designed for people with anemia or other heart conditions, which maintains a stable and safe water temperature in real time. The project was chosen based on team’s interactive presentation and the practical real world application of their solution.

Our partnership with is not a one-off initiative. Experian has been proudly supporting the hackathon for years, driven by our strong belief that TUES is one of the key sources of real IT talent in Bulgaria.

🏁The seventh edition of the AIBEST Technical Academy in Pravets has successfully concluded!

Held over three intensive weeks, the academy brought together nearly 30 students from the National Professional High School of Computer Technologies and Systems in Pravets. The students worked on a real business challenge to design and develop a School Inventory Management System. All teams presented working demos, allowing the jury to register in real time, submit requests, and track available equipment within the systems.

During the closing of the academy, Ivan Rusev, Head of EDQ at Experian Bulgaria and member of the AIBEST Management Board, emphasized: “For us at AIBEST, it is essential to show students that programming is not just about writing code, but about solving real business problems. The projects we have seen prove that with the right mentor support, young talent can create real solutions at a professional level. Investing in education is the most reliable way to ensure Bulgaria’s competitiveness in the global technology sector.”

Yesterday, we were honoured to participate in the official graduation ceremony of the Class of 2025 from the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Informatics (FPMI) at Technical University of Sofia 🎓

As a gold sponsor of the university, Experian Bulgaria representatives took part in this memorable moment for students, academic staff, parents, and friends. More than 200 bachelor’s and master’s degree graduates received their diplomas at a festive ceremony held in TU-Sofia’s newest Tech Arena Hall, which was filled to capacity with students, academic staff, families, and guests.

Ivan Rusev, Head of EDQ, addressed the students on behalf of , highlighting the value of the TU–Sofia diplomas as a strong signal to the business community of their knowledge, skills, and potential.

At , we are committed to empowering young talent with practical knowledge, industry insights, and best practices that prepare them to step confidently into the real-world tech industry. 🚀

For the fourth year in a row, tech experts led the “Methodologies for Software Development” course, part of the “Informatics and Software Science” master’s program at the Technical University of Sofia. 🧑‍🎓

Over the past three months, our colleagues delivered six online lectures covering key software development methodologies, including , , , , as well as best practices for using AI in the development process. 💻

On 26 January, Experian Bulgaria hosted a project presentation event where students showcased their solutions to real software planning challenges.

During the event, the jury reviewed each project and provided constructive feedback. The session concluded with a networking opportunity, giving students the chance to meet Experian mentors and experience our collaborative culture firsthand.

A heartfelt thank you to all colleagues who contributed their time, expertise, and enthusiasm!
