✨ It was great to be at AI N' CYBER Conference 2022, organised by Digital National Alliance.

Our COO Vasil Shivachev joined a discussion about different aspects of Ethical AI yesterday with Svetlin Penkov (Co-founder and CEO at Efemarai, AI Cluster Bulgaria), Dr. Monika Manolova (AI ethics expert at Digital National Alliance) and dr. Georgi Dimitrov (Founder and Senior Expert at Law and Internet Foundation).

The experts agreed that ethics should be present in all spheres of life, especially regarding technology. Machines are becoming an integral part of our lives and we need to make a concerted effort to create ethical machine learning & AI models.

They also discussed:

✅ The use of supervised and unsupervised machine learning models;
✅ The responsibility people should bear in the machine learning process;
✅ Emerging legal frameworks;
✅ The importance of the training data.

As part of the Updata One community, we strive to inspire young people and to give them the opportunity to grow.

💡 We created a summer traineeship program, attended by twenty-eight students from the Vocational school for computer programming and innovation and the School of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Acad. Nikola Obreshkov. The young enthusiasts joined us at our new office in Burgas, where they learned from Identrics’ and A Data Pro’s experts about cloud-based services, the development of a web-based application, and Python and Django programming. 🌟 We are so happy we met so many intelligent and ambitious young people during our internship program with the Vocational school for computer programming and innovation and the School of Mathematics.

The enthusiastic programmers-to-be engaged in multiple lectures and workshops, where they were able to learn about / programming, collection and , and machine learning from Konstantin Boyanov (Manager IT infrastructure at A Data Pro), Kaloyan Krumov (Python Developer at A Data Pro), Dimitar Todorov (Manager Software Architecture Engineering at Identrics), Simeon Martev (Senior Software Engineer at Identrics).

👊 Now it is time for them to show us what they have learned.
