It's always exciting to see SiteGrounders live out one of our core beliefs — to always strive to help the next generation be better. So we were thrilled that for the 3rd year running, our colleague Ivan Stefanov, Technical Project Manager, joined the committee at НПГ по КТС - гр. Правец evaluating students' diploma project defenses.

128 graduates presented their work to committees made up of teachers from the school and TU-Sofia, plus industry reps from SiteGround, Schwarz IT, and Bosch. A few projects that stood out:
👉 An autonomous "mini-tank" that navigates obstacles on its own
👉 A robot that automates collecting small waste
👉 A guardian robot disguised as a cute plush toy, tracking movement with its eyes

Seeing this much creativity from the next generation is exactly why supporting young tech talent matters to us.

We're proud to support Digithon, a one-day AI hackathon by Appolica and Digitalk Conference, bringing together engineers and AI minds to build startup ideas from the ground up.

➡️ On June 7 at Work Better, 11 teams will have one day to shape a product from scratch, all code written on the day. Our Director of AI Development, Yasen Kiprov, and one of our AI Developers, Alexander Ignatov, will join as mentors to help the teams turn their ideas into something special.

➡️ On June 9, our Director of Product Development, Daniel Kanchev, will join the jury on the Digitalk Conference stage to decide which of the top 3 teams takes home the €2,000 prize.

Four cities. One month. Dozens of students joined us to talk about what's next. 💙

Together with U.S. Ambassador's Youth Council Bulgaria, the series traveled across Sofia, Plovdiv, Veliko Tarnovo, Burgas, to explore the future of work, AI, communication, and the skills that actually matter in a fast-changing world.

Being the general partner of that Future Ready series was all about helping young people feel more prepared and more confident about what's ahead. Here are the topics our team members covered:
➡️ Kalina Decheva (Sofia) — on the skills that truly matter in a world shaped by AI, and how to take confident first steps into your career.

On April 24th, our colleagues Viliana Staneva, Nadezhda Gavadinova, and Ivan Yordanov visited the students of Otets Paisiy Secondary School in Samokov — not as lecturers, but as partners in a hands-on learning experience.

Using Coderick AI, our own AI website and web app builder, 7th and 9th graders split into teams and built their own apps, with no coding experience, in just a matter of minutes :
➡️ A meeting calendar
➡️ A travel-sharing platform
➡️ A study preparation app

The conversation didn’t stop at the apps. It shifted into a bigger discussion with the students about life after school, the first steps into a profession, and the power of staying curious.

Thank you to Заедно в час / Teach for Bulgaria for the invitation, and to the wonderful students of Samokov for the energy, the questions, and the ideas. Days like this are a beautiful reminder that each of us can be a guide for someone else on their path. 💚

Over the past few weeks, our Sofia and Plovdiv offices became spaces for something special — three MultiSport lectures, three inspiring experts, and a whole lot of meaningful conversations about health, movement, and the small choices that shape how we feel every day. 💚

➡️ Karin Okolie — former professional sprinter and national record holder, reminded us that a healthy relationship with sport is built on kindness, consistency, and knowing when to rest.
➡️ Ivan Stamov — certified health consultant with 15 years of experience across Europe and the UK, showed us that good nutrition isn't about strict rules, but about understanding what truly fuels us.
➡️ Zlatin Petkov — kinesiologist, osteopath, and professional athlete, opened our eyes to the everyday movement myths we've all believed, and how small adjustments can change everything.

With the start of our internal Get Fit challenge on April 15th, the timing couldn't have been better — colleagues across teams moving, tracking, and cheering each other on through a progress tracking platform our team built using our own AI website and web app builder, Coderick AI. 🏃‍♀️✨

A big thank you to MultiSport and all the lecturers who shared their expertise and inspired us. 💪
