Last week, our PR Manager, Viliana Staneva, joined the jury at the grand final of the sCOOL Media — a training and mentorship program for high schoolers (ages 14–17) with a passion for journalism, run by the Association of European Journalists.

For a week in Gabrovo, 16 aspiring young journalists from across Bulgaria joined to chase important local stories. At the end the top 3 awarded stories were:
➡️ 1st place: "Where Does the Tunnel in Gabrovo Lead — the One That Goes Nowhere", on an abandoned tunnel reborn as a cultural stage
➡️ 2nd place: "Healing with Air — How the Villages Around Gabrovo Live Without a Doctor"
➡️ 3rd place: "A Can of Art", on Nevena Ekimova's light tunnel built from 7,000+ recycled cans

We were excited to join the initiative because we believe that programs like this one teach young people to stay curious, keep asking questions, and think critically.

Our team took on Legion Run and had a blast doing it. 💪

Obstacles, mud, and plenty of cheering each other on all the way to the finish line. This is pretty much us: always ready to move, always up for a challenge, and never the type to sit a challenge out.

For the fourth year running, we're back as general partner of Хижа на годината and this time, we're doing it for the kids. 🏔️

Mountains have always been a personal cause for our team. Over four years with the campaign, we've watched what happens when you invest with intention: huts come back to life, new trails get marked, and communities form. That's what keeps us going.

This year, our new grant, "Welcome to the Mountains with SiteGround", shifts the focus to children. Three huts that actively work with kids, schools, and youth groups will receive specially designed kits and equipment to run camps, green schools, and outdoor learning right on site, developed together with mountain guides, ornithologists, teachers, and educators.

Why kids? Because the mountains teach things you can't get from a textbook: humility, teamwork, and real respect for nature. And honestly, if we don't teach children to love and protect the mountains today, tomorrow there'll be no one left to walk these trails.

➡️ CONCORDIA Charity Cup — we joined a tournament supporting the sports-social program of CONCORDIA Bulgaria.

Yesterday, our HQ was brimming with creative energy as we wrapped up our workshop "More design, less busywork: AI tools for designers" as we welcomed dozens of curious designers.

Nadezhda Gavadinova and Ana-Maria Markovska kicked things off with the AI tools that genuinely earn their place in a designer's workflow. Тhen they handed the keyboards over to the participants. 90 minutes, our web app builder Coderick AI, and a room full of designers building real things: portfolio pages, personal sites, productivity tools. And the apps participants presented during the final Show & Tell session? Genuinely exciting. We left the room on a true inspiration high, and we hope the participants did too.

Massive thanks to everyone who showed up and made it unforgettable. ❤️

Yesterday, Digithon wrapped up — a two-part AI hackathon we were proud to back, where 55 builders across 15 teams raced to turn raw ideas into real AI startup concepts. 🚀

The Digithon by Digitalk & Appolica kicked off last weekend, when teams spent a full day building from scratch. We showed up to do more than sponsor. Our Director of AI Development, Yasen Kiprov, opened the day with a look at who we are and what we build, then he and one of our AI Engineers, Alexander Ignatov, helped the teams with hands-on speed consultations. 💡

➡️ The best 3 teams then advanced to the big stage at Digitalk, where our Director of Product Development, Daniel Kanchev, joined the final jury to help pick the overall winner — and award the grand prize by SiteGround, 2,000 EUR.

And the team taking it home: double oreo 🏆 — for an AI agent that helps in-house marketing teams generate creatives at scale, with a real human-in-the-loop approach and people who clearly know the problem inside out.

What made it even better? Two of the three finalist teams — including our winners — were students from TUES, whom we first met at another hackathon, HackTUES. 🙌

Huge congrats to every team that built, pitched, and put themselves out there. This is the kind of energy we love being around. 👏
