We are looking for mid-level/senior Ruby on Rails developers to help develop and deliver business critical projects for a Danish customer of ours. You'll be joining a small team of highly skilled devs, building a B2B SaaS that visualizes marketing data from social media. As a developer, you will primarily be responsible for converting customer requirements into high-quality code and daily interaction within the context of an agile team.

This role will provide a huge learning opportunity for the right candidate and would be an ideal next step for a developer looking to take their career to the next level.

Responsibilities
✓ Writing clean, maintainable and efficient code
✓ Maintenance of existing web applications
✓ Development of new web applications
✓ Follow best practices (test-driven development, continuous integration, SCRUM, refactoring and code standards)

What is required
✓ At least 2 years of experience with Ruby on Rails framework
✓ Experience with PostgreSQL
✓ Comfortable with TDD/BDD practices, RSpec
✓ Ability to write clean Ruby code
✓ Experience with CI/CD tools
✓ Experience with Bootstrap
✓ No bloated javascript framework: We use turbolinks, fragment caching and render_async instead
✓ A designer/frontender takes care of making the html and scss shine, so you don't have to

The key responsibility for the person on this position will be product architecture and development of ONDO’s IoT-based cloud infrastructure.

As a senior developer, you need to have a good understanding of all of the tools and ideas that can benefit the development lifecycle and pick the tools that will have the biggest positive gain on a project. This would be an opportunity for a senior developer to play a key role in the growth of the organisation and to assist the CTO with a robust development strategy.

Responsibilities

✔Confer with other experts, including systems analysts, programmers and engineers to gather information on project feasibility, limitations, capabilities, requirements and interfaces
✔ Creating clear project requirements
✔ Collaborate with internal teams to come up with a robust software architecture
✔ Write clean, scalable code using C #
✔ Test and deploy applications and systems
✔ Revise, update, refactor and debug existing code

Our team is already enjoying and benefiting from a number of trainings related to project management, soft skills, problem solving and technical expertise!

These trainings are part of the project “Program for overall development and improvement of the personnel expertise in IndigoVerge Ltd. by organizing company-specific training ”. IndigoVerge recently won funding for this project under the Operational Program “Human Resources Development” 2014-2020, co-financed by the European Social Fund of the European Union.

Tons of useful info shared with the team, which we are confident will increase the expertise and performance demonstrated in the projects we are working on, and those yet to come!
