"You have 15 minutes. Tell me why I should listen to you."

That was the brief from the CEO in the case at the HR Hackathon, part of the Bulgarian Association for People Management's "Brain Trust" initiative. The CEO was fictional. The pressure in the room was not.

Teams had a few hours to turn a familiar HR problem into something a business would act on: data, financial impact and a 90-day plan. No AI tools. The thinking had to be their own.

Iva Djambazova, Head of HRM Solutions at Wiser Technology, was part of the volunteer team behind the event and sat on the jury alongside HR professionals from across the business community, judging solutions on clarity, measurability and realistic implementation. The strongest ones didn't just defend the role of HR. They came with numbers, a clear plan - including where HR digitalization would actually move the needle - and a position they could hold.

This was the third Brain Trust event delivered this year by the Hack & Human Team, after HR Tech Demo Day and HR Escape Room.

Agentic AI is moving quickly from ideas to real applications.

Two days in Lisbon, focused on where Europe is heading next.

Ivaylo Slavov, CEO and Board Member, and Dimitar Dimitrov, Co-Founder and Board Member at Wiser Technology, attended the European Conference of German Business 2026. The event brought together leaders from business, government, and industry.
