So… we turned 9. 🎉

9 years in - and how did we celebrate this serious business milestone?

Of course, we stepped out for a quick team lunch 🥙 (close enough to the office… because let’s be honest, we didn’t want to stay away from our favourite (new) place for too long).

There were speeches 🎤 (completely unprepared, as tradition demands),
stories about team buildings, outings, and a few questionable decisions along the way.

Strangely enough…
not a single word about the products we’ve built,
the launches, the milestones, the “serious” achievements. 🤷‍♂️

You’d think those would come up at least once. 😄
But maybe that’s the point.

Because behind all the laughs, trips, and long lunches,
there are 9 years of effort, persistence, and a shared drive to build something that actually matters.

9 years of showing up, figuring things out, and pushing forward.
Not bad for a lunch break celebration.

So yes - maybe we didn’t talk about it yesterday.
But today we will.

Happy birthday, Qualifast! 🎉
And we’re just getting started. 🚀

In Qualifast we recognize team spirit as foundational for our structure and integrity ✨
We enjoy our lunch together 🍲 and all the random topics of discussion during the workday 💬
Regretfully, we do not meet off work hours as much as we would like to, as we now have a good proportion of family-bound colleagues 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦❤️ Still, we keep the tradition to go out every once in a while 🎉
These are always enjoyable evenings, with a pinch of surprise 🎁 as Nina comes up with a new concept every time 💡
This time we were taken to an authentic Japan experience 🇯🇵🍣 in a beautiful setup ✨
We all had a good laugh — some greeted Japanese cuisine as a favorite 😋 while others struggled with the chopsticks 🥢 or the concepts themselves 🤭
Two things to single out from this experience:
We got to meet our dear colleague Mirela, who is currently on maternity leave 💐 and whom we do not get to see too often.
The other thing? Skewer with octopus and chorizo, of course 🐙🔥

Since the inception of Qualifast, we have established a tradition of celebrating the year closure together with our closest partners and clients 🤝
Rumor has it that at least two people continue working with us only to be part of the event 😉 The party is also an important reason to consider working with Qualifast, if you are not yet.

This year, the year-closure event happened a bit earlier 🥂

This is partially to align with the personal agendas of our team members, but also to ensure that we kickstart the holiday season for everyone in style 🎄

We take this opportunity to express our gratitude to everyone who has worked with us through the years 🙏 — the partners that allow us to build some of the most exciting digital products out there.

We are excited that we get to conceptualize together with you, execute, deliver and… celebrate! 🎉

Who would have thought it? 🤔
Something that was planned as a modest team weekend converted to one of the most impactful sport gatherings for Bulgaria and the region. 🇧🇬💪

Our country is 42th in the world rankings for water polo 🌊🤽‍♂️, but we are bound to raise up after the prolific training Qualifast's team members did.

Football club Septemvri Simitli ⚽️ were dumbfounded after the crowds cheering for them suddenly doubled and became thousandfold louder 📣🔥. We even had the Queen on the stands 👑 ( Atanasova). This gave them the morale boost they so desperately needed and they defeated the league's leaders in the next match 🏆.

Many of us joined the table tennis tournament 🏓 that featured some world-class plays (Atanas Tsankov won the main draw 🥇).
And all this not even mentioning that we have amongst us the best female marathon and ultramarathon runner one can think of – Nina Peltekova 🏃‍♀️.

Obviously, all this requires energy recharge 🔋: Antoni Tomov was an active participant in the sports events, but instead of resting in the evening he became the grill master 🍖👨‍🍳 and made sure we were well stuffed 😋.

All in all – blissful, rewarding and enjoyable all throughout 🌞🎉
Let's do it again! NOW! 🚀

Hey, have you heard the news? 📣
Qualifast has switched offices! 🏢✨

For the last few months, we’ve settled in, set up everything we need, branded the walls, and brought in our plants 🌿, family photos 🖼️, and decorations 🎨.
Since moving in, we’ve had internal knowledge-sharing sessions 💡, played a few game nights 🎲, and watched volleyball together 🏐 (yes, VNL too — there was a lot of volleyball even before the infamous world championship!).

Now we truly feel at home 🏠 and appreciate the time together even more ❤️.
For someone observing from a distance, it might not seem like a big deal 🤔 — but moving from a managed office (we used to be Work & Share tenants) to our own space marks a huge step 🚀. It shows that we’re ready for gradual and controlled growth 📈 (our new space has almost double the capacity!).

A huge thank you 🙏 to everyone following our journey, supporting us, and helping us reach yet another marvelous milestone 🌟

Нашият управител Boris Strandjev се изяви на сцената на ISTA Conference 2025. Сесията му "AI effects on quality" беше харесана и оценена високо.

В темата си той направи обобщение за текущото състояние на сферата на разработка на софтуер в ерата на изпълнение подпомогнато от изкуствен интелект (ИИ). В основната част на презентацията си той показа множество практики подкрепени от ИИ, които позволяват да се поддържа нивото на качество дори и когато разработката се ускори чрез ИИ. Комбинацията от философски анализ, дълбоко разбиране на технологичната индустрия и визионерско мислене направи сесията му вълнуваща и просветляваща.

В Куалифаст сме отдадени на създаване на общности и споделяне на знания. Страхотно е, че Борис имаше възможност да говори на тази престижна конференция.

Qualifast отваря стажантска позиция! Търсим човек 2-3 курс бакалавър в компютърна специалност, не изискваме предишен професионален опит. Менторът е избран, както и реалния клиентски проект, към който да го включим. Предстоят разнообразни задачки, като целта ни е този човек да се развие до full stack инженер в стека Java Spring + Angular.

Допълнителни условия за стажа:
- 6 месечна продължителност
- гъвкаво работно време, но със средно поне 30 часа на седмица
- присъствен, на място в офиса ни за да можем да менторираме наистина ефективно
- стажът ще е платен

При успешен стаж, възможност за преминаване в пълноправна позиция в среда, перфектна за развитие на умения и трупане на опит в разработка на стартъпи.

🍤🍻 Както винаги, когато Нина Пелтекова организира менюто е препълнено с екстравагантни храни. И както винаги, когато е на масата, поръчваме от всички тях 🙂

💬 Наистина е приятно да си поговорим на непрофесионални теми от време на време и сме превърнали подобни вечеринки в навик. Когато го правим с правилните хора вечерта винаги е наслада! 🎉

🌟 Времето лети, когато работиш усърдно, а екипът на Qualifast наистина дава всичко от себе си всеки ден! Миналия уикенд решихме да си вземем кратка почивка и да прекараме малко качествено време заедно, далеч от работните ангажименти.

Дестинацията ни? Прекрасният град Плевен – място, наситено с история и култура. (Урок, който научихме: трябва по-често да гледаме българските новини – Плевен е в режим на водата, което добави… интересен щрих към преживяването ни!)

Huge news! A second EXIT of a company from our portfolio! Flat manager is a proptech platform of multiple tools and we have developed couple of apps and integrations for them throughout the years. We appreciate their founders Boris Pavlov and Kamen Manev as entrepreneurs of inexhaustible energy and strive for improvement, exactly the kind of people we love to work with.
