Тhe Dreamix team visited the Career Forum "Step Towards the Future" at the Technical University of Varna.

The energy in the room was exactly what you want to see at a university career event - students who know what they want to build and are already thinking seriously about how to get there. AI came up in almost every conversation: not as a buzzword, but as a direction students are actively orienting their studies and career choices around.

We talked about Dreamix, the projects we work on across aviation, healthcare, fintech, and RegTech, and what growth actually looks like for engineers and AI specialists who join us.

If you are exploring your options, we would be glad to talk!

Sharing is caring: it is one of Dreamix's core values, and one we try to make concrete rather than decorative.

In 2025, Dreamix supported 27 charitable causes across healthcare, childcare, education, environment, and animal welfare, with over €62,000 in total donations. That includes contributions from our internal giving platform, a monthly initiative where every Dreamix employee receives a sum to direct toward a cause of their choice.

The breakdown across the year:
8 healthcare causes
6+ childcare causes
5+ educational causes
4+ environmental and animal-related causes

2025 also included a Greenix campaign: our collective effort to reduce our environmental footprint by collecting electronics in good condition for responsible recycling or donation, rather than letting them gather dust or contribute to waste.

We carried that momentum into 2026. In Q1 alone, Dreamix donated €12,244 across 6 causes - 3 medical, 2 educational, and 1 childcare.

Giving back is not a campaign. It is part of how we operate.

Most CFOs are still being asked "are you using AI?" The more important question is "what does it actually do for you?"

This morning at the EY CFO Forum in Sofia, Georgi Nikolov, CFO at Dreamix, is taking the stage to answer exactly that. His session covers how AI enters the financial function in practice: which tools, which workflows, how long implementation takes, and what the results look like for the teams doing the work day to day.

The conversation in most finance circles has moved past whether to adopt AI. What's harder to find are honest answers about where it performs, where it doesn't, and how to match the right solution to the right financial activity: without the case studies that only show the successes.

Yesterday was World Pilot Day. ✈️

Behind every flight is a person responsible for the safety of everyone on board, making decisions in real time, under pressure, with consequences that leave no room for error. It is one of the few professions where the standard is not "good enough" but "exactly right, every time."

At Dreamix, we build software for the aviation industry. That context shapes how we think about the work, when the systems you build support operations at this level of consequence, the bar for what counts as done is different.

To every pilot keeping the skies safe: thank you. 🙏

75% of cloud migrations go over budget. The culprit is almost never the technology.

McKinsey puts the wasted global spend at over $100 billion annually and Gartner confirms that more than half of all migration projects exceed either budget or timeline. The gap between a migration that delivers and one that drains comes down to what happens before a single workload moves.

Mihail Milkov, Engineering Manager at Dreamix, wrote an 8-phase cloud migration checklist for enterprise CTOs, covering application inventory, FinOps governance, security design, phased sequencing, and post-migration optimisation.

Each phase maps to where projects most commonly break down.

The full checklist is on our website.

When a cloud migration goes over budget, which phase is usually where the problems actually started?

Regulators no longer care whether you have AI in your compliance stack. They care whether you can explain what it decided and why.

That shift was visible at FiBe Berlin last week: a room of 2,000+ people from traditional banks to early-stage fintechs, with a festival format that felt closer to a product launch than a financial services conference. The energy was different. But the underlying topic was consistent: the EU AI Act becomes fully enforceable for high-risk systems in August 2026, and a significant part of the financial services industry is still treating AI governance as a future problem.

For RegTech specifically, this is the moment the question changes. Deploying AI agents that screen customers, triage alerts, and compile due diligence reports is achievable today. The harder requirement is that every step those agents take must produce a traceable, auditable record, not as an afterthought, but as part of the architecture. Gartner estimates that only one in five companies currently has a mature model for governing AI agents. That gap has a deadline attached to it now.

Kiril Balev, our CRO, was in Berlin building relationships and talking to prospects across the fintech and RegTech space. The conversations confirmed what we see with our clients: the organisations moving with confidence are the ones that decided early what they need to own versus what they can buy, and built governance infrastructure before scaling.

We've written about exactly this decision in detail - link on our website.

Sofia's first warm evenings of the year called for something worth stepping outside for.

Last week, the Dreamix Sofia team gathered in the office yard for our first open-air event of the season: a wine tasting evening that turned into something more than just learning about grape varieties and food pairings.

The wine education was genuinely useful: how different varieties are best served, what combinations work, how storage affects what ends up in the glass. But the part that stayed with everyone was simpler, colleagues who usually connect online gathered in the same place, with time to actually talk.

Good wine, warm evening, real conversations. More of this to come. 😊☀🍇

Aviation's legacy messaging infrastructure and its distribution fraud problem have one thing in common: both have persisted because fixing them requires the entire industry to move together.

Last week in Singapore, at International Air Transport Association (IATA) World Data Symposium, Dreamix contributed to two of the four Proof-of-Concept programs in IATA's Cycle 2 Data and Technology PoC — one addressing each of those problems.

Gary Kenny worked on Project Gaia, the Global Data Bus PoC, alongside Qatar Airways , Los Angeles World Airports, Confluent, AWS, Accenture, and others. The team validated a shared, event-driven data backbone built on Apache Kafka-compatible technology — running live operational exchanges across simultaneous Azure and AWS deployments, with a zero-trust encryption model where the transport layer has no visibility into payload content.

Georgi Minkov and Dimitar Dimitrov built the aggregator and booking system components for the Digital Identity Verification in Distribution Process PoC, integrating the NDC platforms of Air Canada, Turkish Airlines, Qatar Airways, and IAG with digital identity tools from Neoke and Hopae. Airlines can now cryptographically verify the identity behind every distribution request — not assume it.

Both PoCs confirmed the same thing from different angles: the technical foundation is ready. What determines the pace from here is governance, commercial alignment, and the willingness to build industry-wide infrastructure rather than proprietary solutions.

Dreamix joined IATA's Strategic Partnerships Program in September 2024. Singapore was the clearest demonstration yet of what that partnership makes possible.

The full press release is linked below. The IATA Cycle 2 position paper is available at page 34 for the Digital Identity PoC and page 5 for Project Gaia.

What does it take for proof-of-concept results like these to become industry defaults rather than isolated demonstrations?

Traditional safety education for kids has a problem: it's boring, so it doesn't stick.

You teach a child not to touch electrical outlets. They nod. Two weeks later, the lesson is forgotten because it was delivered as a rule, not an experience.

Last weekend at the FMI {Codes} Hackathon, Team 2^2 built a solution to that in 48 hours. KiddoSafe - a gamified safety education platform that earned 3rd place.

The concept: interactive decision-tree videos where kids face real-world safety dilemmas. Touch the outlet or walk away? Talk to the stranger or find a teacher? Each choice triggers a video showing the realistic consequence. The lesson becomes experiential, not instructional.

What made it work technically: an AI-powered backend that generates new scenarios dynamically: questions, options, visual assets, and maps them to a database. An admin panel lets educators categorize content by context: Home Alone, School, Stranger Danger, Internet Safety.

The team - Serhan Chavdarliev, Nikola Iliev, Mykyta Bilyi, Daniel Nikolov, and Krasimir Tsvetanov went from concept to working prototype in 48 hours. That's the kind of ex*****on hackathons exist to surface.

We are proud that our colleague Lachezar Peshterliev has been a mentor for this one. Thanks to the Student Council organizers and fellow mentors Stoian Ivanov and Alexandar Galabov for a well-run event.

If you've worked on education tech for kids, what's the one behavior you've found hardest to teach effectively and why do you think existing methods fall short?

The work that defines an IT service provider happens in the details most clients never see. The architectural decision that prevents a system failure three years later. The compliance framework that holds up under audit. The integration strategy that allows legacy and modern systems to coexist without breaking daily operations.

Dreamix has been recognized as IT Service Provider of the Year - Gold at the 2026 TITAN Business Awards Season 1. The award was selected from 5,100+ entries globally and evaluated through a structured blind judging process by an international panel assessing business impact, operational excellence, and sustained performance.

The TITAN Business Awards, organized by the International Awards Associate (IAA), is among the leading international business awards programs, recognizing organizations that demonstrate measurable impact and translate strategy into consistent ex*****on across industries worldwide.

This recognition reflects what our clients in aviation, healthcare, fintech, and transportation have trusted us to build: mission-critical systems where downtime has a cost, where compliance is non-negotiable, and where software supports operations that cannot pause.

"This achievement reflects the hard work and dedication of our team, and the consistent results we have been able to deliver to our clients," says Georgi Nikolov, CFO of Dreamix.

The award belongs to the engineers, architects, project managers, and QA specialists who solve problems that don't have generic solutions and who understand that regulated industries require domain expertise alongside technical capability.
