Last Friday, at the PLAN A office, we welcomed 14 visitors from the Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio to exchange knowledge about the software industry, entrepreneurship and team culture strategy.

The EMBA students, most of them executives with 15-30 years of experience, were eager to learn more about our country and experience, bringing us to a very meaningful discussion. Key topics were: how we compete with other software services companies, what are our priorities and targets currently, what is our approach in AI and retaining senior talent, how we make business decisions and more.

What we emphasized on is how both in our B2B partnerships and in how we build and nurture our team, we "invest" in the people. We enjoy communicating with the people we work with and the people we work for. This is key for retaining similar values and also keeping the community strong. And when people feel good together, have strong soft skills and are great experts alongside, the highest quality products and solutions are built.

Thank you so much to Anurag Gupta from the university for approaching us with the idea for this visit, to all participants who traveled thousands of kilometers to get to know our beautiful country, and to Veselin, Maria and Anastasia from our team for taking the lead in presenting PLAN A!

Yesterday, the PLAN A office hosted one of Access Drum's most successful web accessibility meetups. Both colleagues and external visitors joined and we had a presentation and demonstration by Stefan Vartolomeev, Angel Petrov and Kalina Boneva.

💡 We learned more about the WCAG 1.3.5. and 1.3.6. criteria and how they are important to prepare the autocomplete option to be accessible, starting from the code. It is very commonly used and relevant for registration forms, login screens, delivery and ordering flows, online marketplaces, and more.

In the code, this shows so: a label that says "Your name" tells the user what the field is called. It doesn't tell the browser - or assistive technology - what kind of data goes there. This makes the difference between Identify Purpose and Identify Input Purpose. The correct approach of a dev is to add in the code both the visible label and an instruction of the purpose of this box.

💬 We're happy to have hosted this both for our colleagues and external visitors. There are 280,000 visually impaired people in Bulgaria and their community is active and strong. Making your business accessible, especially with B2C products, can make them loyal and strongly supportive of what you bring to the market.

Last week, Burgas hosted the second edition of Buki Fest - a student festival organized by Буки училищни програми / Buki school programs by Telerik Academy.

More than 340 participants from 13 cities came together, including over 140 students who presented 50+ projects developed throughout the school year with the support of more than 50 teachers.

The showcased projects ranged from smart city models, mobile apps, and educational games to comics, robotics, and creative visual concepts - all built using the Buki educational resources for teachers. The festival concluded with awards for the most outstanding projects.

We strongly believe in supporting students and teachers through innovative learning approaches. Project-based learning plays a key role in preparing young people for real-world work, especially in technology-focused fields where collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving matter most.

We are proud to be a partner of this year’s edition and contribute to making these inspiring connections and ideas possible!
