Новость дня: в реактор шестого энергоблока Нововоронежской АЭС загрузили ядерное топливо. А это значит, что начался физпуск первого в мире энергоблока самого совершенного поколения – «3+»!
Это новое поколение атомных станций с беспрецедентным уровнем безопасности. Его главная особенность – использование дополнительных систем безопасности, для запуска которых не нужна рука человека.
Здание с самым мощным и современным в России реактором ВВЭР-1200 укреплено двойной защитной оболочкой: АЭС выдержит землетрясение, цунами, ураган и падение самолета. Под корпус реактора установлена «ловушка» расплава, которая в случае аварии «поймает» радиоактивные материалы и не даст им выйти за пределы АЭС.
В мире подобные АЭС еще никто не запустил. США и Франция тоже активно развивают поколение «3+», но ни реактор AP-1000 от Westinghouse, ни EPR от Areva на этап загрузки топлива пока не вышли. Так что Россия впереди планеты всей. Кстати, именно такие энергоблоки мы будем строить в Бангладеш и Турции.

This is a new generation of nuclear power stations with an unprecedented level of security. Its main feature is the use of additional safety systems. The building with the most powerful and modern Russian VVER-1200 reactor is reinforced with double protective shielding: nuclear power plant will withstand an earthquake, a tsunami, a hurricane, even a plane crash. Under the reactor vessel is installed the core melt trap, which catches the radioactive materials in case of an accident and does not allow them to go beyond the NPP.
No other country has not launched a similar NPP. The U.S. and France are also actively developing the generation "3+", but neither the AP-1000 by Westinghouse, nor EPR by Areva has not yet reached the stage of fuel loading.
