The Belgian summer transfer window may have just closed, but we still managed to pull off one last big move: our very own transfer of the year.

Jeroen, our Sustainability Coordinator, is moving from Marketing to Finance.

A significant part of Jeroen’s work is closely linked to reporting and compliance, making Finance a natural fit for these responsibilities. From his new team, he will continue to work on topics such as the Sustainability Statement, EU Taxonomy compliance, EcoVadis and the coordination of our sustainability working group.

While responsibilities may shift, our shared ambition as a company remains unchanged: to grow sustainably while creating lasting value for our customers, partners, society and the planet.

And although Jeroen may officially be transferring to Finance, we all know his heart will always belong to the Marketing team. Just to make sure nobody forgets, we had it printed on a polo.

⚡️ How is the changing energy landscape influencing the future of data center investments?

On 17 September, our CEO Laurens van Reijen will join the Datacenter Dynamics Investment Forum in London for a roundtable discussion on renewable energy and on-site power generation.

Generating our own renewable energy helps us rely less on the grid and strengthens our sustainability efforts. On site we put this into practice with a solar park at LCL Wallonia One and solar façades integrated into the newest buildings at LCL Brussels-North and LCL Brussels-West. ☀️
