🚀 Atmire expands into Spain with Arvo acquisition 🇪🇸

We are excited to share that Atmire has acquired Arvo Consultores, the Spanish market leader in DSpace consultancy and hosting. Effective December 31, 2025, Arvo becomes a wholly owned subsidiary of Atmire.

This step strengthens our position in the global DSpace community 🌍 and establishes a strong operational presence in Spain, one of the most mature and widely adopted DSpace markets worldwide. Arvo’s experienced local team and strong client base of Spanish-speaking institutions complement Atmire’s European and international operations.

Exciting News! 📚 A team at the University of Pennsylvania Libraries (Penn Libraries) has successfully completed the migration of Scholarly Commons, the University’s open-access institutional repository. This migration involved transitioning from BePress Digital Commons to an Atmire repository.
