Lode Nachtergaele, Machine Learning Engineer @ dataroots, will 𝙙𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙤 𝙖 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙚 𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙮 𝙂𝙚𝙣𝘼𝙄 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙢𝙨 𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙜𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙚: sometimes your model simply can’t retrieve what you expect it to. He’ll explore why traditional semantic retrieval often falls short (especially in more complex scenarios) and how giving an LLM the ability to “think” and use simple tools can lead to far more reliable outcomes.

And he’s not coming with opinions. He’s coming with data 😎

Welcome to our new office! 🤗

Office Manager shares a glimpse of our new office in Leuven. There’s truly no one better to introduce it as she helped shape this new space, bringing it to life and making sure it felt like home from day one 💛🏡

This new space was thoughtfully designed to support the next phase of our journey; it offers everything from open collaboration areas to quiet corners for deep focus, and of course our new and improved Dripl machine 🤩

We’ve already hosted team days, workshops, and knowledge‑sharing sessions here, and with more events on the way, you might even get the chance to experience it yourself 😉

We can’t wait to welcome more people into this space and share the energy that makes Dataroots what it is✨
