𝐖𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐮𝐞.
And we’ve almost forgotten how to really talk to each other.
Online, yes.
Face to face, much less.
The reality?
We’re losing our relational skills because we spend more time talking to ChatGPT than to actual human beings.
This is what’s called social atrophy.
You stress without your phone.
You avoid silence.
You respond instead of listening.
And yet, relationships are a muscle.
If you don’t exercise it, it weakens.
And without it: you can’t influence, persuade, or inspire.
Want to strengthen it?
Talk to someone without a screen between you.
Let silence exist.
Look into their eyes.
Ask questions to understand, not to impress.
It’s uncomfortable.
But it’s powerful.
I choose to practice, to reconnect, to remember what it really feels like to be with someone.
Because I’m convinced that it’s there, in those simple, genuine exchanges, that our humanity truly shows its strength.
