Speciale letters: øñæēįù

Een klein weetje over speciale letters. Mogelijk ken je dit trucje al, maar het overkomt ons toch regelmatig dat we hier nog iemand blij mee kunnen maken.

Wil je een speciale letter intikken op je Mac toetsenbord, dan volstaat het vaak om de letter langer in te houden. Dan verschijnt er een mini-menuutje waar je de juiste variant kan selecteren door het desbetreffende cijfer te typen. (Of je beweegt met je pijltjes-toetsen naar de juiste variant, en drukt dan op enter.)

Test even met de ‘o’ en geniet bijvoorbeeld van de bevrediging om sierlijk ‘Hello Bjørn’ te typen in plaats van koudweg en mogelijk verkeerdelijk ‘Hello Bjorn’. Tenzij deze Bjorn, echt gewoon Bjorn heet, in plaats van Bjørn. 😏

Zo vindt je varianten onder de letters: a, e, u, i, o, j, c, n.

Deze bescheiden kunstgreep werkt ook op je mobiele toetsenbordje trouwens. Maar dat weten de meesten al uit ervaring.
