Our annual Carbon Footprint Report for FY25 shows a total footprint of 142.8 tonnes CO2e. That is a 12% reduction compared to FY24 (162.5 tonnes), yet slightly higher than FY23 (132.8 tonnes).

A straight line would make a tidier story, but we prefer transparency and solid numbers. And, taking into account the growing footprint of our platform, this is an excellent result ๐Ÿ‘

Like most software vendors, the majority of our emissions are outside our direct control. Scope 3 emissions, including suppliers, infrastructure, travel and other indirect components, account for 95% of the total.
That is why consistent reporting matters. It helps us trace the contributions per category, what we can reduce, and where we need to stay accountable.

๐ŸŒณ For the third year in a row, Limecraft has offset its full footprint, including Scope 1, 2 and 3, through Go Forest .

Another step on our path towards Net Zero by 2030. More info in our Carbon Footprint Report.

Join us on June 18 for a first look at what's coming in Limecraft 2026.4 release. On the agenda:

๐Ÿ‘ฅ Group & Team Management
Large accounts know the pain: too many workspaces, too many users, too much time spent on access management. Limecraft 2026.4 introduces "Teams": define users, workspaces and permissions in one place, and access updates automatically as new productions are created.

๐Ÿ” Advanced Audio Sync using Waveform Matching
Timecode works for most shoots, but not when clocks drift, audio cards arrive late, or timecode is simply missing. Audio fingerprinting fills that gap, matching video and audio by waveform during the backup job itself, so sync holds up even when timecode doesn't.

๐Ÿ“ฒ Push notifications in the mobile app
Keep up with production updates wherever you are.

See you there โ€“ grab your spot via the link in the comments!

An offload is only complete when it can be verified.

Thatโ€™s why Limecraft 2026.3 adds ASC MHL generation directly during ingest and offload. The verification report travels with the media, allowing every stakeholder in the chain to independently validate file integrity using any MHL-compatible tool.

Behind the scenes, verification works by processing all files in a transfer through a checksum algorithm, reducing an entire folder structure to a unique digital fingerprint. The result is stored in an MHL or PDF report and can be revalidated at any point in the workflow.

Why it matters? Because production media is often irreplaceable. Verification helps detect corruption, incomplete transfers, or unwanted changes before they become expensive problems.

Limecraft Edge now also supports selectable checksum algorithms. Alongside MD5, productions can use xxHash64 and xxHash3 64-bit for faster verification performance on high-volume shoots โ€” while maintaining interoperability across systems and vendors through standardized MHL reporting.

And for teams that require strict data integrity policies: verification can be made mandatory as part of the offload workflow.

๐Ÿ‘€ Jonna and Maarten walk you through it in the video.

Creating readable, professional subtitles is about far more complex than splitting a transcript every 40 characters.

Each broadcaster and streaming platform maintains detailed subtitle style guides covering timing, line breaks, reading speed, speaker changes, shot changes, positioning, punctuation and much more. Because good subtitles are not just technically correct. You want them to be as close to invisible as possible.

Poorly auto-generated garbled captions expose the defects immediately:

โ€ข awkward line breaks
โ€ข subtitles appearing too early or too late
โ€ข captions fighting against the rhythm of the edit
โ€ข rapid flashing that creates a stroboscopic viewing experience
โ€ข sentences broken at unnatural points

The problem? Even the best โ€œAI subtitleโ€ services treat subtitling as a text problem. It is not. Subtitling is editorial craft. Timing matters. Rhythm matters. Editorial intent matters.

At Limecraft, we approach subtitling from a post-production perspective. Our AI agents are designed to create state-of-the-art subtitles that follow your specific style guide and respect the editorial cadence.

Because the goal is not simply to generate captions.

The goal is to create subtitles viewers barely notice โ€” because they feel natural.

Not convinced yet? Give it a try yourself.

Back from MPTS, heavily loaded and still digesting. One theme kept recurring.

What was most striking this year was how much the industry has matured. The debate is no longer whether best practices will/need to change. The real question remains how to make complexity manageable, instead of simply adding more of it.

Across MPTS, earlier industry events, and DPP discussions, much of the conversation focused on whether large-scale transformation would happen. The pressure is real: more content, more deliverables, tighter turnaround times, growing complexity, AI deployed in a hurry due to FOMO, and certain steps in post-production being decimated.

So how do you transform operations in flight while everything is moving at full speed? Production teams rarely have the luxury to stop, redesign workflows from scratch, and restart. Yet, operational pressure keeps slowly increasing.

The panel discussion with NEP Group, Inc. Europe and ITV Studios resonated strongly. The key message stood out very clearly: meaningful transformation only happens through openness, collaboration, and partnership, not through theoretical โ€œsilver bulletโ€ solutions. Organisations have to rethink assumptions together and align technology with operational reality.

The collaboration between NEP Europe, ITV Studios and Limecraft showcases that approach: moving workflow intelligence upstream, capturing editorial intent earlier in the process, bringing editorial and post-production together in a collaborative model, and building workflows that remain operationally usable throughout the chain.

Thanks to all partners and customers we had the chance to talk to at MPTS, for pointing us in the right direction. Your insights are invaluable ๐Ÿ™

On complex productions, getting the sequence right the first time is non-negotiable. Limecraft 2026.3 extends AAF export templates with advanced track mapping: master clips or group clips, camera and audio device selection, custom labels, multi-channel audio per subtrack. The sequence builds itself.

Especially relevant for multicamera, multi-track and high-volume productions where a predictable timeline is worth its weight in rushes.

May sound simple, but real-life production workflows quickly become complex. Ingest, storage management, transcription, subtitling, archive logic, content exports, notifications, AI pipelines, graphic-content signalling, delivery checks. Each production has its own requirements and exceptions; often involving dozens of documents exchanged by email.

Limecraft is built to manage that complexity without turning workflow changes into development projects.

With Limecraft, workflow templates are configured centrally at account level. Admins define reusable templates for recurring processes, then quickly bring new workflow instances alive when bootstrapping a new workspace. That means less setup, fewer manual steps, and more consistency across productions.

At the same time, workflows remain flexible. Limecraftโ€™s low-code approach makes it easy to configure and customise workflows to match the needs of specific broadcasters, producers, language service providers, or archive operations.

Ex*****on is handled through local agents, so media processing can take place close to the content and storage environment. Meanwhile, workflow progress is reported centrally in real time through the Workflow Overview, giving admins visibility into what is running, completed, blocked, or failed.

The result is an optimal balance between central control and local ex*****on.

For you as a producer, this means:
โšก Faster and more cost-effective setup
โšก Flexible configuration without unnecessary custom development
โšก Better visibility across workflows
โšก Easier troubleshooting and control
โšก A solid foundation that evolves with changing requirements

Media operations keep growing more complex. More content, versions, delivery requirements, automation, and AI-assisted processes add pressure to editorial. Limecraft helps them stay on top with configurable, reusable workflows and maximum visibility.
