Finally!!

Last Friday the Formica team got together in the city of Antwerp to meet and greet. For some even – and we have to thank Covid19 for this – for the first time in person which resulted in a short but funny 'reintroducing'. Or was it the white baseball caps? :)

We gathered at the main square in front of the 16th-century renaissance style city hall and split into 3 groups to play a city game, to discover more of the history and the ins and outs of the city.

After a good 2 hour walk exploring the town, we ended up having a well-deserved drink, just moments before leaving for the pinnacle of the afternoon. A visit to the trending ‘Black Smoke’ restaurant strategically located above the ‘de Koninck’ brewery. World-famous in Antwerp for their ‘Bollekes’ beer.

The team-outing was a big success, so much so that we are already gathering ideas for our next event. If you know of anything fun, tasty, and incredibly inspiring, let us know and we might well invite you for the next ‘round’.

Continuous learning at Formica

Today our Formica consultants started a 2-day soft skills boot camp offered by our in-house OECO academy.

We strongly believe in providing our consultants with continuous training and development in both technical and personal skills so they can reach their full potential and advance their careers.

Admittedly, it has been a while – due to the covid19 restrictions – that we were able to meet up. Especially because some of our newest colleagues haven’t seen their teammates in more than 2 dimensions yet.
