What happens when an AI agent receives a request like: “review this PR before merge”?

In his latest article, our colleague Eugene Sokolov explores why large prompts often reach their limits and how splitting responsibilities inside an AI skill can make engineering work more structured, reliable and actionable.

We’ll share the full article in the BIO 🌵

There is a new article on our website!

This time, Sergio Cabeza de Vaca Montero, Product Engineer at Cactus, explores why AI coding agents can seem to get worse the longer they work.

When context windows become overloaded with logs, failed attempts and outdated assumptions, even powerful models can start making poor decisions.

The problem is not always the AI itself, but the environment it is working in.

During our coworking session in Seville, we had the opportunity to hear from our CEO, Bram Van Nieuwerburgh, who shared insights on where we're heading and the opportunities ahead.

We also enjoyed lunch together, taking the opportunity to catch up, exchange ideas, and meet new colleagues 🌵

At Cactus, we believe in technology that moves forward with equality.

Today, and every day, we support rights, justice, and action for all women and girls.

We had our 𝗚𝗲𝘁-𝗧𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 from 𝗘𝗘𝗨 𝗛𝘂𝗯, and it felt good to step away from our screens for a bit.

We learned how to prepare perfumes and tried our hands at creating mosaic tiles. The event went smoothly, the ambience was cozy and friendly, and it gave us the space to connect in a different way.

Pavel Yarakhovich shared his experience: “I created something that I would not normally use and confirmed I’m definitely better at writing code than crafting fragrances 😄”

And during the mosaic session, Elene Tsotseria captured the vibe perfectly:
"Who knew tiny pieces of glass, clay, and mystery materials could turn creativity and patience into a fun time with colleagues, and it was fun to observe everyone’s unique choices!”

There were experiments, tiny tiles everywhere, unexpected scent combinations, and plenty of laughs in between.

Good people and creativity. Moments like this bring a different kind of energy. 🌵

𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘄? 🦀

We ran OpenClaw 24/7 on a Raspberry Pi 4 to see what happens when an AI agent doesn’t just answer, but acts.

Scripts, monitoring, integrations, real automation.

The result?
OpenClaw feels less like a chatbot and more like infrastructure.

2026 will be about building AI that actually works in a reliable, well-managed, scalable way.

After a year full of breakthroughs and lessons learned, here's where we see AI truly moving next:

① Strong oversight becomes essential
② Agents finally grow up
③ Multimodality becomes AI’s native language
④ AI moves from the cloud to the real world
⑤ Small models take the spotlight

Which of these shifts do you think will have the biggest impact in 2026?
