We only swapped:
โ€“ minced meat โ†’ plant-based mince
โ€“ dairy cream โ†’ oat or soy cream

Classic: 3.42 kg COโ‚‚e
Plant-based: 0.6 kg COโ‚‚e

Thatโ€™s โ€“82% climate impact for the same comfort dish.

And we donโ€™t just measure carbon.
Our label compares meals to the average Belgian dish across 14 environmental indicators.

Result:

๐ŸŒ Whatโ€™s the environmental footprint of the Flemish favourite dish?

According to a survey by Dagelijkse Kost and De Wereld van Sofie witloof with ham and cheese is number one in Flanders. So we ran the numbers.

The verdict?
๐Ÿ‘‰ Not bad, but it can be better.

With a few simple swaps, the footprint already drops:
โ€ข butter โ†’ soy-based butter
โ€ข milk โ†’ oat milk
