Design & conception As an electronics engineer and musician, Yann Lu manufactures at home (Belgium) analog pro audio devices since 2015.

His first conception is a microphone preamp inspired by an early 80s console circuitry, which was made famous by best-selling albums included i.a. Michael Jackson’s Thriller and Bad or Paul Simon's Graceland. The low noise parallel discrete input stage produces very pristine, clear and transparent sounds with thick transients.

Today I spent the afternoon at the Pyramide Studio for a drum recording session using my PRE-505 mic preamps.
6 channels were wired for the session 🎙️🎛️🎤🥁👌

The first takes already sounded incredibly punchy on the snare, with huge low-end extension on the kick. The room capture from the B&K microphones was also beautifully natural and detailed.

J’ai constitué un rack démo avec 10 préamplis micro en série 500 et un EQ-32S stéréo.

Je le mets à disposition d’ingénieurs du son pros pour :
• une session d’enregistrement (ex : batterie complète)
• ou une session de mixage pour tester l’EQ sur vos productions

Je me déplace avec le rack, assure l’installation en début de session, et cela dans un cadre défini. Possible pour les studios situés à ±2h de mon atelier (7190 Ecaussinnes).

Si vous réfléchissez à investir dans votre chaîne de préamplis ou de mix, parlons-en !
