When David Hockney painted, the whole world turned brighter. The pools were bluer, the light was warmer, and ordinary places looked like somewhere you'd always wanted to be.
It's already been more than a week since we said goodbye to one of the most beloved artists of our time, who passed away on 11 June at the age of 88. But time cannot fade the colour he gave us.
Long before this moment, a member of the Metasteps community built something extraordinary in his honour: a 3D immersive exhibition called "Over 1000 Pieces of Art Inspired by David Hockney", more than a thousand works, created by people moved by his vision.
