The Arab Voice | صوت العرب was created for the Print Friends exhibition at Al Markhiya Gallery al markhiya gallery / جاليري المرخية in dialogue with Ahmad Yousef’s Arab Nation Street painting.

Looking back at the visual culture of the 1950s and ’60s, the work brings together pixelated Arabic type and abstracted flag forms to explore Arab unity, collective memory, and the graphic language of that period.

The piece was produced as a 50 × 70 cm limited-edition silkscreen, alongside artists and designers from across the Arab world.

Curated by Maryam Al-Homaid 🇶🇦 مريم الحميد and Mohammad Sharaf محمد شرف. Thank you both for bringing this exhibition together.
