Bangladesh has made remarkable progress in economic growth over the past decades, yet rural communities continue to face challenges such as limited market access, unemployment, low agricultural incomes, inadequate digital inclusion, and restricted opportunities for women and youth. Gramshop, a rural digital commerce and enterprise development platform, has emerged as an innovative social enterprise that addresses these challenges by connecting rural producers with wider markets, promoting entrepreneurship, and strengthening local economies.
Through a combination of digital technology, local service centers, entrepreneurship development, and market linkages, Gramshop contributes to inclusive and sustainable rural development.
