ধরেন আপনি রিমোট জব করতে চাচ্ছেন, কিংবা রিক্রুটারদের নজরে আসতে চাচ্ছেন, কিংবা চাচ্ছেন ক্লায়েন্ট আপনাকে প্রজেক্টের জন্য নক করুক।

এই বিষয়ে লিঙ্কডইন আসলেই দারুন একটা প্ল্যাটফর্ম। এখানে ছোট্ট একটা টিপস শেয়ার করি লিঙ্কডইন থেকে এরকম লিড কালেকশনের জন্য কিংবা সবার নজরে আসার জন্য।

আপনি যদি আসলেই রিমোট জব করতে চান, তাহলে তিনটা মাস নিজের জন্য ডেডিকেটেড রাখেন প্রথমেই। এই তিন মাসে আপনি নিচের প্ল্যানগুলো সেট করে ফেলুন

১) কোন ট্র‍্যাকে বা কি কি নিয়ে কাজ করতে চান
২) এবার লিঙ্কডইনে এসে সেই রিলেটেড জব পোস্ট গুলো সার্চ করে দেখে নিন ক্লায়েন্টরা আসলে কি কি টুলসের উপরে দক্ষতা চায় সেই ট্র‍্যাকে
৩) এবার নেক্সট তিন মাসে সেই টুলস গুলো শিখে ফেলুন। শেখা শুরুর আগে প্রোপারলি একটা রোডম্যাপ বা প্ল্যান তৈরী করে নিন। প্ল্যান ছাড়া শেখা শুরু করাটা আসলে তেমন একটা কাজে আসে না। ডেডিকেটেড থাকুন এই তিনটা মাস। মনে রাখবেন কনসিস্টেন্সি ইজ দ্য কি 🙂

এর সাথে আপনার লিঙ্কডইনের প্রোফাইল রিচ করতে থাকুন। সেটা কিভাবে করবেন?

১) আপনার অ্যাবাউট মি সেকশন আপডেট করে ফেলুন
২) রিজিউমি আপডেট করুন যেই ট্র‍্যাকে কাজ করতে চাচ্ছেন সেই ট্র‍্যাক রিলেটেড টুলস আর ইনফো দিয়ে।
৪) এইটা সবচেয়ে কাজের টিপস - আপনি যেই ট্র্যাকে কাজ করতে চাচ্ছেন সেই রিলেটেড পোস্ট দিন আপনার লিঙ্কডইন ওয়ালে। এই রিলেটেড অন্যদের পোস্টগুলোও শেয়ার করুন আপনার ওয়ালে। এটা করার সময় অবশ্যই কন্টেন্ট কোয়ালিটির দিকে নজর রাখবেন। এই পোস্ট এর কাজটা একদম রিলিজিয়াসলি করুন - একদম রেগুলার। ছোট একটা আপডেট দিন প্রতিদিন, কোয়ালিটি আপডেট। প্রতিদিন না পারলে একদিন পরপর দিন।
৫) অন্য যারা আপনার ট্র্যাক রিলেটেড পোস্ট করছে তাদের পোস্টে গঠনমূলক কমেন্ট করুন। মনে রাখবেন আপনার টার্গেট কি? আপনার টার্গেট হল নিজের উপস্থিতি জানান দেয়া, নিজেকে নোটিশ করানো।
৬) এই টিপসটা শুধুমাত্র ডেভেলপারদের জন্য - নিজের গিটহাব প্রোফাইল আপটুডেট রাখুন। গিটহাবে প্রোফাইলে আপনার কাজ এবং আপনার ইনফোগুলো আপডেট করুন। রেগুলার কিছু হবি প্রজেক্ট বা কাজের প্রজেক্টে কমিট এবং পুশ করুন। আপনি যে একটিভলি ডেভেলপমেন্টের সাথে আছে সেটা অন্যদেরকে জানান।
৭) নিজের লিঙ্কডইনে প্রোফাইলে ওপেন ফর প্রজেক্ট অথবা ওপেন টু ওয়ার্ক ব্যাজ অন করে দিন একমাস পর থেকেই।
৮) এবার শেষ টিপস - দুই আড়াই মাস হয়ে গেলে আপনি যখন কনফিডেন্ট ফিল করা শুরু করবেন, এবার রিমোট জবে এপ্লাই করা শুরু করুন। এপ্লাইয়ের ক্ষেত্রে প্রতিবার নতুন কভার লেটার লিখবেন। এমনভাবে লিখবেন যেন সেখানে জব রিলেটেড ইনফো থাকে, ক্লায়েন্ট যেন দেখে বুঝতে পারে যে আপনি জব পোস্ট বা জব ডেসক্রিপশনটা আসলেই পড়েছেন, কিংবা আপনি আসলেই এই জবের জন্য একজন উপযুক্ত ক্যান্ডিডেট। একটা ভালো কভার লেটার ইন্টারভিউ কল পাওয়ার জন্য ম্যাজিকের মতো কাজ করে।

দেখবেন কিছুদিনের মধ্যে থেকেই পোটেনশিয়াল ক্লায়েন্টরা আপনাকে মেসেজে নক দেয়া শুরু করেছে। ইট ওয়ার্কস ভাই, ইট জেনুইনলি ওয়ার্কস। আমি নিজেও বহুবার ক্লায়েন্ট পেয়েছি লিঙ্কডইন থেকে। রিমোট জবও পেয়েছি এই লিঙ্কডইন প্ল্যাটফর্মেই - সেটাও একাধিকবার।
