আমরা যারা ব্রর্ডব্যান্ড ইন্টারনেট ব্যবহার করি সবারই এই হিসাব টা জানা দরকার। না হলে বোকার মত বলে উঠবো, “আমি 1Mbps লাইন নিয়েছি, কিন্তু ডাউনলোড দিলে 120-128KB দেখায়, কেন 1MB দেখায় না ?”তাই YouTube, BDIX/Movie Server/ FTP Server বাদে অন্য সকল সাইট থেকে ডাউনলোড দিলে এই দেখাবে.... যথাক্রমে-
1Mbps = 128KB Max
2Mbps = 256KB Max
3Mbps = 384KB Max
4Mbps = 512KB Max

Mbps = (M)ega (b)its (p)er (s)econd
Kb= (k)ilo (b)its But, If
KB= (K)ilo (B)yte
So, b= bit and B=Byte
আমরা যখন কিছু ডাউনলোড দেই তখন দেখি ডাউনলোড দেখাচ্ছে KB বা MB
মনে রাখবেন 8bit = 1Byte
So, 1 M(b)ps = 1024 K(b)ps = 1024K(bit) / 8bit = 128K(Byte)
তাই YouTube, BDIX/Movie Server/ FTP Server বাদে অন্য সকল সাইট থেকে ডাউনলোড দিলে এই দেখাবে....
যাদের লাইন Speed নিচে যথাক্রমে-
1Mbps = 128KB Max
2Mbps = 256KB Max
3Mbps = 384KB Max
4Mbps = 512KB Max... .... ….
8Mbps = 1024KB / 1MB Max

WiFi Password share করা থেকে বিরত থাকুন ...
আপনার Wi-Fi এর Password অন্যকে দেওয়া থেকে বিরত থাকুন। কারন এই জন্য গতি তো কম পাবেনই এবং আপনার ID থেকে কেউ Internet ব্যবহার করে রাষ্ট্রদোহী কাজে জড়িত থাকলে আপনি দায়ী থাকবেন। আমাদের কাছে User এর Log details সংরক্ষন থাকে। BTRC এর কাছে তা সরবরাহ করতে আমরা বাধ্য।
আসুন নিজে সচেতন থাকি, অন্যকে সচেতন করি।
