When the economy becomes uncertain, HR becomes more important, not less
In times like this, organizations naturally focus on numbers.
Cost. Orders. Energy. Margins.
All of these matter.
But behind every number, there are people quietly trying to manage their own reality. In Bangladesh, prices are still high.
Globally, uncertainty is not going away.
And somewhere in between, employees are adjusting their lives while still trying to perform at work.
This is where HR needs to look deeper.
Not just:
Are people working?
But:
Are they coping?
Are they feeling stable?
Do they trust the organization in difficult times?
From an organizational side, not everything is always possible.
But clarity, fairness, and honest communication are always possible.
In uncertain times, trust becomes a real business asset.
And sometimes, protecting trust is as important as protecting cost.
