Passing the torch in style! ⚽
✨ To mark the International Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples 2026, the Indigenous Students Association took to the pitch for a thrilling Senior vs. Junior showdown. After an intense match packed with incredible energy and skill, the Juniors edged out a victory with a 4-3 win!
🏆 Outstanding game by both teams—celebrating unity, sportsmanship, and our rich heritage.

সবাইকে আন্তর্জাতিক আদিবাসী দিবসের সংগ্রামী শুভেচ্ছা।
৯ই আগস্ট আন্তর্জাতিক আদিবাসী দিবস উপলক্ষে আদিবাসী ছাত্র সংগঠন, জাককানইবির আয়োজনে র‍্যালি, আলোচনা সভা ও গান অনুষ্ঠিত হয়।

এইবারের প্রতিপাদ্য বিষয় ছিলো -
“Honouring Indigenous Midwives: Safeguarding Life and Well-being”
বাংলায়: “আদিবাসী ধাত্রীদের সম্মান: জীবন ও সুস্বাস্থ্য সুরক্ষা।”

র‍্যালি শেষে আলোচনা সভায় আদিবাসী দিবস নিয়ে বক্তব্য রাখেন লোকপ্রশাসন ও সরকার পরিচালনা বিদ্যা বিভাগের ১৮ তম ব্যাচের শিক্ষার্থী সচিব কান্তি চাকমা।
বক্তব্য রাখেন আদিবাসী ছাত্র সংগঠন জাককানইবির সাবেক সাংগঠনিক সম্পাদক শ্রাবণ চিছাম। তিনি তার বক্তব্যে আদিবাসীদের সাংবিধানিক স্বীকৃতি, অধিকার, আদিবাসী শিক্ষার্থীদের বুলিং, এবং আরও অন্যন্য গুরুত্বপূর্ণ দিক গুলো তুলে ধরেন। সংগঠনের আরও নেতৃবৃন্দরাও আদিবাসী দিবস নিয়ে জোড়ালো বক্তব্য রাখেন।

সবশেষে আদিবাসী ছাত্র সংগঠন জাককানইবির সভাপতি রুদ্র ম্রং আদিবাসী দিবস নিয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বক্তব্য রাখেন এবং একই সাথে উপস্থিত সকলকে ধন্যবাদ ও কৃতজ্ঞতা জানিয়ে আলোচনা সভার সমাপ্তি ঘোষণা করেন।

Championing Rights, Shaping the Future! 🏆✨

We are thrilled to announce that our team emerged as Winners of the GSF Debate Competition organized in observance of the International Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples 2026!
Debating on the theme "The role of youth in securing the rights of indigenous peoples," we stood up for the crucial responsibility our generation holds in amplifying indigenous voices, preserving cultural heritage, and advocating for social justice and land rights. Taking home the winner’s trophy is a proud moment, but the cause we spoke for remains the real priority.
A huge thank you to the organizers, judges, and fellow debaters for an insightful platform! 🎙️✊

এবং একই সাথে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ২০তম আবর্তনের আদিবাসী শিক্ষার্থীদের সাথে পরিচয় এবং সংগঠনের পক্ষ থেকে তাদেরকে শুভেচ্ছা ও শুভকামনা জানানো হয়।
